Agreed, although Easter Song is not his, but 2nd Chapter of Acts'!!!

As reflected in his music, Keith was a man of deep conviction.

Loved his passion for the Lord, listened to him constantly in ‘79

Love Keith green!! He was very unique and had a heart for Jesus!! Gets me emotional;)!!

I was saved in 1989 and was basically raised in the Kingdom by Keith's music. I say he was a prophet.

Look at his videos he was ON FIRE for God...such a beautiful song...Keith was the real deal...many great songs by Keith....there is a video of him at like 11 years old playing piano and singing ...truly gifted piano player and song writer...so glad he chose to serve God. Other 70's CCM that I would recommend for reactions from you would be: Andrae Crouch and the Disciples, Love Song, Chuck Girard, Bryan Duncan, Sweet Comfort Band, Gentle Faith, Darryl Mansfield, Mustard Seed Faith, Don Francisco, Barry McGuire, and Lamb...and those are just the beginning groups. They are good examples of the simplicity of the Gospel presentation, combined with excellent writing and music craft. Keith was very earnest, and my favorite albums of his are his first one, "For Him Who has Ears", and his last one, "Songs for the Shepherd".

you should listen to more of his music. He is my absolute favorite christian artist. Started listening to Phil Keaggy in the 70s and he's STILL my go-to artist.

I listened to Keith Green obsessively when I got saved in '79. This man lived, walked and breathed Jesus and his music was amazing and profound.

Keith Green and Lonnie Frisbee both had such relevant and anointed messages for their generation AND TODAYS GENERATION.

My former teacher knew the Green family. And he was warned by the elders in his church to not builds a airstrip and get a plane but he did it anyways and overloaded the plane with people. His Easter Song is really good to.

Another great and imo authentic christian band is Harvest. "All that is in me", "Army of the Lord" and "Because I am" are my favourites so far.
