The amazing voice of Steve Perry and one the guitar greats in rock Neil Schon! "Be Good to Youself", "Don't Stop Believin'", "Ask the Lonely", "Only the Young", "Separate Ways", "Lights", "Open Arms", "Who's Crying Now." One of those groups that even if you're not a Journey fan, you already know a lot of their songs.

Absolutely love Journey, brings back memories of my childhood. They were never quite the same after lead sing Steve Perry decided he to leave the band because he had had enough of touring and had a family. The band got a new singer but Steve's voice is so iconic the band was never really the same.

The song is about constant touring. The “wheel in the sky” is a plane. As opposed to a tour bus. Being away from family and loved ones for sometimes a year or more while you’re on the “road”. Not even knowing where you are or where you’re going. I remember hearing an anecdote from a member of the Eagles, two of them were arguing. One saying they were in this city, the other saying that city. When they finally asked they were both wrong.

Wheel in the sky is a war song about a soldier who wants to get home and the wheel is the helicopter blades that keep bringing them into battle that's my take yours is good also dont think I'm ever gonna make it home again makes me think it's a soldier not a musician

Way back when I was a freshman in college, Steve Perry, the lead singer of Journey, came to my hometown on tour over Thanksgiving weekend (he had already left the band at that point). I took my mother to see him in concert, and the live concert was one of the best I've ever been to. He gave a radio interview that weekend to one of our local radio stations, and he said that this was his favorite song that he's recorded because, for him, it's about life on the road touring as a musician. I've also seen Journey perform with their new lead singer, Arnel Pineda, and there is just so much power and energy in their music. Well worth seeing in person.

. Joey, sweet, sweet Joey. Loving what you're doing with Journey. Steve Perry. Can I tell a little story? I'm 21, working on TV, obviously lived in So Cal. It was the days of partying all the time. When of course not working,, well maybe working it, (you'd never know who you might run into, actors, play writes, PA's Producers, Directors, haha... Even the gafs.) You could get pick up for work at any time.. Legit acting, modeling of course I live all my live in what they now call "The OC" back to club... It was amongst the top of very famous private clubs. If I had time, I'd tell ya some fun stories.. But they'd have to be private. It's better that way🤫better that way for I don't want to mention too many peeps online.. Anyway, I was a honorary member. So I'm in VIP, I'm very sad, hurt, my beau was caught with another. He was famous, Paps published pics. I felt humiliated. He said he couldn't help himself, the vixen reeled him in. BS... So, a few weeks later, I back at the club with my Lady squad at the Club, the DJ (Do You Remember The original TV Show. McGuyver(sp?) . With Richard Dean Anderson played McGuyver. Well, his brother Jimmy Dean was the DJ for the Private Clubs which catered to the top of Hollywood Elite, Super Models, Fashion Shows, industry peeps. Jimmy was a dear dear friend, so that night, before my show, he calls me to the booth, says he has a special REVENGE song to spin for me... Just released, the song It's called" "Loving, Touchin, Squeezin." by Journey. I'd love this piece of music, he new me well... Please check it out. See Ofc. Video, but also check out the on stage performance video where he is wear red silk shirt, black tight I think leather pants.. Shaggy straight long hair. The words are so good... Beat amazing... Message, the best. Let me know ok. Also, you have my email. Somethings are kept safe off social media. I know you understand. God Bless.. Try to ck it out.. Lovin Touchin Squeezin
