    snare was DELICIOUS in this one! so tight! best snare in the game!! metal bands nowadays have a processed sound to their drum kit, but not Vlad!!! great reaction as always!

  • @module79l28

    @module79l28

    3 жыл бұрын

    It's not even a processed drum sound, it's fucking sample replacement! It doesn't matter if the kit sounds good or the drummer is good or not, everything ends up aligned to a grid and with sounds someone else recorded. And what pisses me off the most is that they don't even try to diversify, they all use the exact same samples! One of the things that makes me like Jinjer so much is how organic and human the guitar, bass and drums sound. If they used sample replacement and the same guitar and bass sounds everyone and their mother uses these days, I wouldn't even have passed beyond the first song I heard. I only made an exception to Kim's use of samples on King of Everything because he's one hell of a drummer.

    Honestly my personal opinion, Jinjer’s a decent scream band but I feel like she just doesn’t compare to other scream artist, for example Spiritbox. Her growling is for sure on point but her voice with the melodies she runs with really doesn’t hit. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I get a major evanescence vibe from her verse just not as well executed. Not bad.. just not as good.

    Very uneasy kind of music...even for Jinjer standards, takes a while to grow on you.
