A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZread. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZread I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on KZread won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This KZread channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

Love that album. (When you say “produced,” some might think he’s only a producer. Not an amazing singer/songwriter. Just sayin’.) I had a huge teenage crush on Tim. Only saw him twice, both times from first row (Central Park-Shaeffer; Max’s Kansas City NYC). Saw Jeff many times: first time was at a memorial concert for Tim in my hood (Brooklyn): blew everyone away. I knew a couple of performers and was going to dinner with one so went backstage... met Jeff. We didn’t have a “friendship,” but we shared a few beers after a few shows. Saw him about 15 times. Last time: CBGB’s. Glad to see someone mention Tim: he is deep in my heart. Both are. When youtube was younger you couldn’t find videos of Tim. But now there are some. Not nearly enough of course, but at least some. A good one of Honey Man.

And so many more parks and outdoor concerts when everyone was just fledgling. I missed the summer of love-too young (im 66) but got everything else. Judy Collins was the first concert I went to age 14 then Phil Ochs (my hero) and then the Grateful Dead who player a few blocks from my home in an old movie theater. His live performances are if anything better than the recordings. I completely get the feeling you were talking about while listening to this song, and just about any performance of his has that same quality in it. Lover, You Should Have Come Over, Mojo Pin, New Year’s Prayer, and Morning Theft are personal favs. Thanks for reminding me of my first time hearing one of my favs. ❤️

The version you heard on Shrek was by John Cale, the original version by Leonard Cohen is also used in Watchmen. Buckley is a talented guy but Cohen is a poet.

This was written by Leonard Cohen and released on an album of his in 1984. At one point, in his writing, there were 80 plus verses. Many have covered it, and it is always beautiful, but Jeff's is, by far, the best. Thanks for reacting to it, and now I will have to go get tissues. Every time I watch this performance, I cry like a baby. R.I.P. Jeff....gone too soon.

The song was first written by Leonard Cohen, a Jewish poet and singer from my hood of Montreal. It uses religious imagery, but for the purpose of expressing love, loss, pain and sorrow... and joy... this version is amazing....

Jeff's cover made this 1984 song by Canadian songwriter Leonard Cohen famous. Tragically he died young soon afterward. "Hallelujah" has been covered by many others as well, notably including kd lang (another Canadian) and a cappella quintet Pentatonix (that version is breathtaking)...

Another reactor, who happens to be a songwriter but I don't know that that matters, finally reacted to Pentatonix hallelujah. And he was so moved That by the end of it he was a washed with emotion and was tearing up. He said he had never Experienced A group or song as powerful as the video he just saw. His favorite version of hallelujah was this gentleman and he said he didn't think anybody could ever top it. And then he heard Pentatonix And Was just blown out of the water. Their video for hallelujah has 1⁄2 of billion Views. As somebody commented this is a great video So serve as an introduction to Pentatonix. Also bohemian rhapsody, imagine, sound of silence, daft punk medily, evolution of Michael Jackson. They are a cappella and they do have 1 of the sickest beat boxer you will ever come across. They won a Grammy for their death punk medley which was made on a budget of $400 in 1 of the group members kitchen. And there's second Grammy Is for dance of the sugar plum fairies in which you will truly gain in appreciation Just how good their base is and the gentleman who is there counter tenor. The gentleman who's the bass voice Can go so deep that he can blow out speakers. He Can go so deep that he can blow out speakers. He also has the very rare ability to sing 2 different notes at the same time. If you see a Pentatonix video after 2017 then the base has changed from Avi to matt. They are definitely worth Oh look at. I really don't think you'll be disappointed.

This is the most recorded anthem of the past decade or more. It's the product of the most gifted of rock/folk/pop songwriters of the past fifty years, the late Canadian Leonard Cohen, and the gifted young voice phenom and one-record wonder, Jeff Buckley, who drowned shortly after putting out the record (his father, fine singer Tim Buckley, died of an OD very young, as well). Leonard Cohen wrote an entire collection of great songs, most famously "Suzanne." Buckley's entire studio album is wonderful.
