I don’t agree with “All you need is a good beat to be a successful rapper” statement. Hopsin makes his own beats first of all. You need cadence, flow, lyrics, harmonies..... etc. You can’t just put a hard rocking beat and expect to blow up. Hopsin rides the beat so well and delivers his lyrics amazingly that the beat sound harder then it even is. Some rappers can get away with it like 6ix9ine, or lil pump etc but it’s not as likely.

Best place to start with Hopsin is to go through "Ill mind of Hopsin" 1-9. Look at the dates of the videos posted. You can literally see Hop grow up and evolve as a rapper. Each video tell you something about where his mind is at that point in his life. It's really interesting even the early videos. Haha
