This song came out when my daughter was born. She absolutely refused to sleep and would scream at the top of her lungs all night, while I would watch late night MTV and this song would have me bawling my eyes out. My newborn daughter and I would both be on the couch crying together. 16 years later, this song still makes me tear up thinking about it. This is such a touching song.

This song received Grammy for song of the year in 2003. Still one of my all time favourite songs.

The band my son is in opened up for them at the HOB at Myrtle Beach SC. They asked them if they would and of course, they were so excited to be asked to. He talked about how nice they all were and they hung out with them before and after the show..always loved this song.

Wow love this I met a girl 18 years ago I live in London she’s in Nottingham we started talking over the phone for months she thought the sun shone out of my back side but there’s was another side I was a criminal an old fashioned villain ( I’m no proud) this track was a way of me breaking my other side to her she said you don’t have to do that anymore I’ll take care of you Today we are still together strong we live here in London and we have built a home in her country Thailand who said leopards can’t change there spots I’ve been good now for 18 years now this track will always be our song thanks

@@kimberlinibambini1988 thanks her nickname for me is Tony Joan, Joan means criminal in thai funny thing is 3 years before I met her in England I was in Thailand and one night I was drinking in an east Germany bar and across the rd there was a pub called rosy ogradys and a beautiful woman with long curly hair was outside welcoming customers 3 and a half years later we were looking at photos of her in Thailand and hey ho there she was outside rosy ogradys with her green suit on it was all meant to be whenever I mention it she gets annoyed with me Woman eh

It was a heist all along...

I remember the first time this played, I was in labor and I had lost my daughter. To this day, I remember this song and dedicate it to her. I've had no kids since losing her, but this song, and losing my daughter has made me stronger. I changed a lot, and the reason was because of her. I blamed myself a lot for losing her, then I played this song over and over and I had forgiven myself, because that's what my daughter would have wanted me to do. She was stillborn. I still live with guilt but it gets better as the days go on.

Hey, life roles the dice with pros and cons which we cant choose what we want. It is ok if you lost your daughter. She is still smiling at you from above and one thing she would want to see from you is happiness.

I love this song..... it rarely happens, that I say : a song of the 2000s but still timeless.... most I say that about 70s or 80s songs

YEAH! These guys knew how to write a rock ballad. It reminds me of the 80's & early 90's. The only problem I had with this song was I thought the guitar distortion should've been more prominent in the chorus. It does come in a bit stronger in the last chorus. Still, this song is awesome!!!

This song makes me cry every time... I always think of my late husband when I hear this song....

One of my all time favorite songs, and you see why. I had to watch the video a few times when I first saw it because I couldnt really see what it had to do with the song. I still think that the video stands alone from the song. The video was very well written and produced/directed, and when you watch it, you enjoy both the song and video. But I could have it all wrong too lol, its happened before about a million times.

This song makes me think of my sons. They are the only good reason to be good. God blessed me with my children and my children led me back to God.
