God has many names. One God; many names. George sings & prays to the same God to which you sing & pray. The world has many languages and, while the words are spoken differently, the meaning doesn’t change. The world is so diverse, we speak to God in the language of our souls; different languages, same God. God is expansive, omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient. The only limitations placed upon God are the limitations we ourselves create in our own minds - but those limitations are not God’s. They are ours alone.

Late to the party but if memory serves George once said (paraphrasing)of this song "It doesn't matter what you call God as long as you call on him." His objective was to make people more God conscience. PS I'd like to suggest you listen to "Long, Long, Long" off the Beatles White Album" written by George Harrison as an expression of his happiness in finding God.

George was a devout practicing Hindu, which is far older than Christianity. Put your Bible away, he wasn't asking for a Christian interpretation, he was talking about the daily practice of love and acceptance of his faith. Which did not include judging other beliefs, or trying to filter what others believed through what he thought was right.

If you’d been born in a different part of the world you’d most likely be practicing another faith. Just goes to show you that no man truly understands God or His plan, and certainly no one faith has the monopoly on Him.

Amun, Amun. Jesus Christ only exists because of my sacred place of birth, Kemet (Egypt). Your people, the cruel tyrants, deliberately stole from my ancestors, committed religious genocide, and in the hopes of rendering Kemet benighted, you harshly demonize our kingdom for polytheism! Why, in the Massacre of the Innocent, were babies slaughtered? How do you live with that! Kemeticism is the revival of ancient Egyptian religion. If you thought it was extinct, you're wrong. You are being brainwashed into remaining in this ghastly sinister faith. There is so much proof of this, Nebet. All we wanted was to express our love for life, but that love was brutally snatched away from our ancestral phyles: men, women and children! That's totally inexcusable, abhorrently macabre, and distresses me greatly! I can't say that I forgive those dark archons, but I have an ethereal heart of cherubic sweetness courtesy of Heru-Pa-Khered (Horus the child). To our cousins, he is Gopala Krishna. I'm not trying to convert you from your faith, but rather, I'm allowing you to see the truth about Christianity. Moreover, why is it that many people curse the name of your god instead of Osiris, Isis, Horus, Anubis, Hathor, or any of the Kemetic gods? I am more than blessed to be a royal child of Ra, Osiris, Isis, and ultimately, all of Egypt. I am the pyramids, I am the one who sets and rises with Horus, I am born of the Nile River. I, Nunu Babu Pakapu. Dewa-Netjer en etj.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." John 14:6. People can argue all they want to about the "many ways" to God, but this verse puts it all to rest. This is Jesus talking. If Jesus said it, it's true. God means for all of us (of all religions, all ethnicities and all cultures) to be one flock with one Shepherd. There's one path to salvation and that's accepting the free gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ. George Harrison was a spiritual man, always in search of something. I pray he took the Lord as his Savior before he died.

The reason why it is repetitive because it symbolizes the idea of reincarnation (which can span thousands and thousands of lifetimes depending each individual). Hindus, who Harrison was one, believe in reaching moksha, the liberation from the cycle of samsara (cycle of birth, death, and rebirth). Achieving moksha means reaching a state of spiritual perfection and unity with the divine. This song resembles a chant (like Christians repeating the same prayer over and over ). Harrison in a way creates his own Hindu prayer, if you will, using melody, rhythm, musical instruments, and his own passionate words.

To all brothers and sisters in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, don't be decieved, the song is secretly implying about backsliding and drifting away from the faith, the song tells us about Him moving away from Christ, the living GOD, to Krishna a Hindu idol.

I like that he discovered a new religion, and just folded it in to his own, limited human understanding, and never bothered to debate, correct, or reject, a word of it. That's just love, in a different language, with different ways to describe it.

I don't want to have a confrontation but I just want you to know that the Bible is a liturgical book, and Christ meant for the Church to pass on the rule of faith, or else there would be 40, 000 different interpretations..oh, wait..God bless Mary protect +++
