I love hip-hop played with live instruments, it gives it a new vibe, The Brand New Heavies, Connie Price & The Keystones, El Michels Affair all put out albums like that, when done right it's dope. What can you say about DOOM, you have to be a true hip-hop head to get it, it's abstract, hip-hop's supervillain.

I love OMA but you are straight drinking ridiculous juice ti say they are better than the roots. They are the guys that cover the roots. They are not the Roots. Never put cover bands in the same lane as the originators. That's silly. There are a lot of great cover bands in every genre of music and if you ask then are they better than the bands they cover they will all look at you like you're nuts.
