This was amazing. Your care for her shows and it is much appreciated. This Song was played every day to help her face the unknown. She was brave, generous , caring, an awesome mother and wife. She was a Marine and we were deployed together for a long time. She said this illness terrified her more than anything. She fought a hard battle and never gave up. Thank you Jay. Love the shirt. I am a cancer survivor. Both of my deceased parents had cancer. My brother died of cancer and my sister is battling cancer. My family knows the tragedy of cancer like you do. Blue October's Justin Furstenfeld has had a lot of drug and emotional problems, and he decided to face them and he's in a much better place now. Check out Hate Me. It's a great song about his depths of addiction. Calling You is another great song of theirs that shows how much his life has turned around.

Crying my eyes out. That was a lovely tribute and a lovely song. 💖 Well done, sweetie.

It took my father in 2014, it was only 3 months from when we found out. I sat with him through every treatment, not knowing that 2 years later, it would be me going through the same thing myself. I didn't hold out much hope for myself, but for some reason, it gave me a reprieve. I live life very differently now. Work less, live more, hate less, love more, judge less, understand more, take less, give more. I'm the happiest I've ever been. I don't know when it will be back, but I'm living my best life until then. Bless Lora and her family.

So sorry for your losses. Fuck Cancer, for real. My childhood friend just died 4 months after diagnosis at 39.. left behind a wife and 4 young kids. Its just terrible.

Yes, cancer sucks! I've been fighting throat cancer for the 3 years now. I'm sick & tired of being sick & tired, but I'm still here & still fighting was hard as I can! I'll be damned if I'll let it beat me! Everyone who's fighting this right with me, don't give ever give up...don't ever give in! God bless & prayers being sent 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thanks for the song hon... The girls are such a blessing to my life. Still kinda new to the parent thing but they are a big help and such amazing unique personalities. I once could never imagine myself with kids of my own. Now I can't imagine my life without these amazing girls.

@@loraharvey6740 , Thank you for stepping up. Raising kids, girls in particular, can be challenging at times. I have 4 of them. It is normal to always question if you've done something right or wrong. They don't come with instructions. I prayed for her every day.

I love the shirt. I'm sorry to hear about Lora. I love the moments of silence you honoured all with. I lost my girlfriend of 34 years to cancer mid-September. She was 49. I also lost my dad to this horrid, narky disease 19 years ago. He was 54. It's cruel.

Oh my goodness! Warren Zevon (werewolves of London) passed bc of lung cancer. I was just watching him last night. I’m so sorry about Laura! It is so hard losing a subbie! 💔 I lost a friend in August that I met on KZread (Julie) and we became great friends for two years. Laura and Julie are in heaven tonight and my song for Julie was California by Lana del Rey. I know you probably can’t react to that song but I highly recommend it after losing a friend. I’m crying now. 😢❤️❤️❤️💔 Blue October- ii surely is.

My cousin is lead guitar for Blue October. I met Justin and his brother backstage when the band was on tour in Seattle. Really nice folks who have been through a lot over the years.

Give your cousin my heartfelt thanks for creating a song that made my wife stand and fight harder everyday. The first time she heard it she cried and placed it on repeat for 2 hours. She then listened to it every single day. When she passed she was peaceful and fear free. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the entire Blue October band.

Blue October is my favorite band! I would jump on Spotify and just listen to them. You will love them. The personal story of Justin is inspiring. To come as far as he’s has can give anyone hope. It’s awesome because you can follow his life and story through his music. It’s amazing.

"Hate Me" is an AMAZING song by them & definitely their most well known. He is a recovered addict and this song is his apology for those he hurt while in active addiction & basically saying he's wasn't the best person to be caring about right now. The video is POWERFUL. The message on the voice-mail is the actual one his Mom left him & she is in the video with him. I am a recovered addict, Jay so this song is huge for me. Please consider doing this one. You won't be sorry!!

I've been lucky enough to have discovered Blue October when they first came out. Their songs have got me through some of the toughest times in my life. Justin is truly an inspiration. They have so many amazing songs. Thanks for doing this reaction.

As I watch this on Halloween, today would have been my Grandma's 99th birthday but she passed away 20 years ago from colon cancer. She was my rock & I still miss her daily. Perfect timing today for your shirt. I'm so sorry about Laura. Beautiful remembrance, Jay. ❤

Blue October is one of those bands that sounds phenomenal on their albums but are even better live. Highly recommend you go to a concert if you ever get the chance. I've met the band a few times and they're all so sweet and caring.

I lost my hubby in 2019 to melanoma cancer. He was 48…. First time I heard this song was after he was gone…. This song hit me hard and I love it…. I’m alone now and I have never really had to. Keep keeping it on… you’re doin a great job 💜💜💜

If you really want to hear the power in his voice, listen to an acoustic version of this song. He does a solo tour under his own name Justin Furstenfeld. He has phenomenal stage presence, so if you ever get the chance, go see him live, it's worth the price of the ticket!
