I love Robin, always have. Maybe review Love Me, The Longest Night, Rings Around The Moon if you want to hear some emotion that only Robin could do. The Bee Gees weren't just fantastic singers and songwriters they were so good to their fans, and they had a wicked good sense of humor (On YT look for a one minute clip titled Howard Stern and the Bee Gees Ode to Lorena Bobbitt) They were so funny. J3 got here a little late. I love it every single time I hear it, and that's a lot.

Here in the Netherlands it was actually the second single from the album. 'Secret love' being the first.It was a big hit, 'When he's gone' didn't do as well. Many people get to know the Bee Gees by listening to the Falsetto songs, and later discover the power of Robin's voice. And in most cases it surprises them. All three can sing brilliantly, one of the is really good, to of them is awsome, the three of them is magic.

Here is the next list you should react to. All by the BeeGees, of course. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, Love So Right, The Only Love, Rings Around the Moon. And Wedding Day. At this point you only have about 2000 more to go!!!!

I think you could call High Civilization a "transitional" album, in between the strong late 80s sound of One, and the more Euro-tech sound of Size Isn't Everything, which is one of my favorite albums of theirs. I'll be honest, not their greatest, greatest album, though I really do like this song, and another one off this album, The Only Love, is really good, too. They pitched The Only Love to Bryan Adams to record, but he wasn't interested. too bad, because I think he could have had a big hit with it.

THE ONLY LOVE is a great suggestion. I recommend an audio version with lyrics to be able to hear Barry’s overlapping vocals that can’t be duplicated live.

If you like the Bee Gees, try the song "Man in the Middle" and "Walking on Air"

Try Lonely Days, Lonely Nights. Live versions show all three brothers doing great stuff vocally and instrumentally.

You need to listen to some of their 60’s songs. Spicks and Specks, I gotta get a message to you, Lonely Days, New York Mining Disaster 1941 and Words are just some of them.

Barry’s single Ha cracks me up.

Robin is the best.

I wish I seen this come up earlier tonight. I am crazy about "High Civilization" and this is one of my favorites. This is a great Robin lead. His voice is very strong and compelling here, and I love the falsetto backing Barry does. It's a party at Mo's keyboards, and how about Alan? Darn that guitar is good.

@@DianaJG8 I've been wondering about you too. My mom is stable. She's in skilled nursing. It just seems like we go forward a bit, and then back. The therapists are so good with her, but she's at an age where it is hard to heal, and the pain is still pretty extreme. We still don't know about whether her arm will have any mobility, but she is pretty balanced on her feet with a hemi-walker. I'm just unusually nutty this week (or year, or maybe decade). I returned to the office last Monday. I get 3 days in and 2 still working from home. It was strange. I'm still feeling like I should be extra cautious, and I don't want to pick up something I can handle, then take it to my mom. So far so good, except I found out I really don't need a ton of co-workers around to make my day complete. I did just fine in sloppy sweats and my kitty cat house slippers all day. What is going on with you?? Are you feeling okay? I got Main Course, Spirits, Mr. Natural and I threw in Jim Croce's Photographs and Memories in my bag for the drive tomorrow to Wichita. It's been in the 70's here the last few days, and tomorrow rain and possible snow. I promised myself we were done with that. What do I know?

Thx a lot. Insane song and Robin's rendition is awesome. Too bad that here the crazy outro solo guitar was shortened. In fact in the album version, it lasts more than 1 minute.

That song is fire! But you're wrong, Devin! The great 'High Civilization' album had three singles, that one's been the third. First one was 'Secret Love', which charted high in Europe. The follow up single was 'The Only Love', which also charted, but lesser good. From both extraordinary good songs, many vids to find on YT.
