Laura Witt - For me it was the ROBIN effect! Don't forget the Bee Gees were THREE and all vital as singers and composers. Many of their early international hits were sung by Robin's amazing voice and all three wrote their songs for themselves and others. The twins also had a ton of fans including me since 1967!

1979.... I was a sophomore in high school. And Andy was so handsome. And certainly has an angelic voice. The Bee Gees often came on the radio .... Yes, lots and lots and lots of times. Thanks, your adorable when you're listening to these songs. In God we trust. Come Lord Jesus.

They donated the proceeds from this song to UNICEF in perpetuity. Not sure if you noticed the scars on Barry’s chest. He pulled a just poured tea pot onto himself as a toddler and was given 20 minutes to live at on point. Can’t imagine a world without their music. All four (including younger brother Andy) are said to have perfect pitch. Barry announced at 8 that he was going to be a pop star when he grew up and started working at it from that time. Maurice and Robin are twins 3 years younger than Barry. Maurice said he asked if they could be pop stars, too. Barry said yes, and Barry was the big brother... he knew everything, so if he said they could, they believed it. The work ethic as kids was unbelievable. It’s one of the most inspiring - and entertaining - stories. No matter what, they believed in the dream and what they heard coming out of themselves, and made it happen. They were born on The Island of Man. They have so,so many great songs. And wrote a lot for others. There is sadly only one still alive; The falsetto-voice, Barry Gibb.

Bodyguard is one of The Bee Gees most beautiful songs they’ve ever sung and written.

Born in Douglas on the Isle of Man between the UK & Ireland. Parents moved to Manchester England when the boys were little. Later they migrated to Australia. They were a kid act there and as teenagers --In the 60’s they came back to England to ride the British Invasion (musically), they made it big there and then in the USA. Only Barry is the only living brother now. He was the one in the middle singing. His youngest brother Andy (who also died) also had a solo career (sounded a lot like Barry). They have written over 1000 songs for themselves and others. There are some great suggestions below.

Now all are Dead. no one has ever compared to them. they are all lead singers in different songs. little brother Andy Gibb also made his career singing, but got into drugs and ruined his heart. died at 30.
