No auto-tune or studio tricks - just straight singers. Man. More After 7? I had that After 7 cassette and wore it out playing my Walkman in the subway going to work back in the day along with Guy, LeVert, Jody Whatley. Al B Sure!, Karyn White and of course Keith Sweat. So many other great R&B singers. Favorite kind of genre 🔥

That run he starts at 4:20 .... legendary Black vocals. If you're someone who really sings, I guarantee you go in on that part every time you hear this song lol

Loooooved this song. My unc was a music head growing up so I knew a lot of songs that I prob shouldn't have. I remember hearing this song on the radio. Glad I grew up in the era with classic hits like this.

This was the group's most successful hit but they have three albums from 1989-1996 that are all fantastic. I highly recommend you peep them. Yeah he's a counter tenor. The best in history. The next closet to him is Emmanuel Johnson lead singer of Enchantment, or Mark Middleton from Blackstreet.
