Never bought the drink package until I went with my brother. He made sure to fill his Yeti B4 we got off the ship on port days 😂😂😂

We hit 15 a day baby!!! Now I must say we didn't drink them all. We gifted most to family on board. It was about 25 or so of us on the trip so it was fairly easy.

I am not a heavy drinker but I get the drink package and it's very worth it. I probably average between 8-12 drinks on a sea day and 4-8 drinks on a port day. But I also get about 20 bottles of water during a 7 day cruise and maybe even a milkshake or two. With the alcoholic drinks alone it would be close to not being worth it for me but when you add on the water and any other non alcoholic drinks then it's more than worth it.

Bout to go on my first cruise in January…really been on the fence about this package. My brother is coming with me and he doesn’t drink. Can’t wait to watch all your videos before my cruise. They help a lot

Always get drink package - drink around 4ish alcoholic drinks a day BUT I drink LOT of gaderade, energy drinks, water, shakes and coffee so I think it is worth it PLUS don't have to worry about a bill at end.

Im cruising in August on the Valor porting out of New Orleans! I am getting the Cheers package. When I went on my first cruise we didnt get the cheers we got the bubbles one and bought drinks along the way. We spent way too much money. Drink package all the way this second cruise! I also prepaid for everything including gratuties! I looooove your channel yall are awesome! I love to hear yall talk about VA! Yall give such wonderful tips! Going on Carnival Panorama with family in June. My husband and I have added the drink packages on our last 3 cruise trips. Once you have it, it's hard to not add it to your vacation IMO

I enjoy these two sooooo much.. I’m headed on my first cruise April 10th and I’ve learned soooo much. I feel like they are my bestfriend lmao

Our cruise is in November… super excited because this is our first cruise and our first cruise with our toddlers

This was very informative…it’s always been worth it for us we have a family of four so me and hubby get the drink package . We are able to get our drinks (and yes I do have at least 4 😅 a day or more) at breakfast I preferred a mimosas and probably a cocktail or two at dinner . Then hanging around the pool or at the bar. What’s makes it worth it for me is yes we share it with our kids 🤫 we get them non alcoholic drinks , milkshakes, soda etc

Thanks for the information! My spouse and I just disembarked the Carnival Magic after an 8 day cruise. We had Cheers! They never opened our Gatorade or sodas. I was waiting for this and had planned to politely ask them not to touch the top of my drink or open it! This was our first Carnival Cruise since before the pandemic. I remember them doing that, but not this time. I'm glad because it was wrong on so many levels!!

It’s actually the rules but the staff don’t get paid enough to fight with people over it so I don’t blame em honestly. The juice ain’t worth the squeeze.

Me and my friend doing a 15 day cruise so this is helpful!

We just got back from a 6 day! We purchased the cheers and did excursions everyday offered. We are drinkers and bourbons are my go to. Searched out the bars with the top shelf liquors. I don’t believe we hit the 15 each day but we were up there. In total we ended up getting 100 drinks over the duration. The misses definitely made sure after excursion days that was the mission to get it in 🍸🥃 lol after the cruise we calculated if it was worth it or not and given we drink the cheers pays for itself for our situation.

I agree - not a fan of regular Hennessy but I do like Hennessey Black. I can tolerate XO...much smoother in taste.

I’m bringing a 40oz tumbler to throw drinks into prior to going into port.

My wife and I get the drink package for a piece of mind. Sometimes we max for the day (giving away drinks) sometimes we don’t even get close but u don’t have to worry about a bill after! I’ve seen a guy have a mental breakdown because his roommate spent 2k in drinks!!

I tried reaching the daily max, but only got up to max over the course of the cruise 😂😂😂 a total of 15 drinks the entire cruise.

In Texas, you can still buy alcohol on the first day in port, they just write down your portfolio # and you’ll see the charges on the 2nd day.

@@LifeWithUsTV No, they charge you by the drink. You guys were right, the package starts at 6am on the 2nd day. I was saying all the drinks you buy on the 1st day won’t show up on your account until the 2nd day. That’s how it has been on my cruises and I always buy Cheers

@@mzkeetra you can't buy all the drinks. It's a specific selection. For example Red Frog Pub only had about half the menu when the cruise starts due to Texas laws.

These packages are ridiculously priced imo. I drink, & my partner doesn't. How is the drink packages worth it for both of us? I just 👏🏿 we have fun. Because EVERYTHING little thing is $$$$$$. We should've gone to the Bahamas, stayed in a hotel, got free wifi, & an all inclusive package. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Btw: you guys are very entertaining. I ❤ it‼️😂

You definitely have to remember, if you get the package, anyone in your cabin over 21 has to get that drink package too. And as they noted, this does not include drinks at port. Even their private islands.

I got the pkg. I dont wanna be trying to figure out the math with what im spending on my on (:

1 - My King and I almost maxed out everyday on our 8day cruise last year. lmbo I said hey I can do 5 - Breakfast, 5-Lunch, and 5-Dinner and it worked. Drink then eat, drink then eat, drink then eat. Im a drinker so it worked out great for us. My King can drink so it worked out for him to cuz when i wanted more and he was done and i ran out then i would drink his lmbo

We start our cruise February 25th out of Miami when we booked it the drink packet was included so I waiting to try different drinks I've never had

Most people see 15 drink limit and use that to say they won't drink 15 drinks so the package is not worth it. A regular drink will cost you about 15 including gratuity. That along with a glass of wine, coffee, energy drinks, Gatorade, sparkling water, regular water, milkshakes etc. This msjes the package worth it if you even if you don't drink.

my first cruse me and my husband got the drink package and i will get it each cruise simply for peace of mind, my big thing is i am a medium to heavy drinker 4-6 drinks day but i get coffees, sodas, water bottles and such a day

It would be nice if they added an in between package. My son is 19. Obviously he is too you forth Cheers, but he would definitely enjoy limited/unlimited specialty coffee, milkshakes and thevnice bottle water. He would even like an energy drink from time to time. We are cruising on the Sunshine over July 4th. I have already purchased the endless bubbles for him. I may get the Cheers for myself. I'm on the fence. The coffee and milkshakes are VERY tempting for me.😊

I am loving your channel!! October on the radiance will be my first time on Carnival. I can’t wait but I have to say that I’m disappointed about the room service policy and not being able to get drinks off the Cheers package to my room. And beer is the only alcohol on the room service menu and there’s a charge for it. Also, only coffee and continental breakfast is free. I really enjoyed having a free cappuccino each morning and a margarita at night to my room for free on my other cruise … what are your thoughts about the carnival room service with the Cheers package?

I’ve never experienced or heard of it ever being extended to room service. Virgin has bottled spirits for room service but not on carnival

I love to drink, yes it's great 😂😂😊, but if my friends don't drink that much or at all, it wouldn't be worth it to do a cheers package, but to each their own...

MSC drink package is unlimited and it works on their private island. Also they are cheaper than carnival.

Me and my wife normally don't get the cheers package. We normally just place a credit on our account for the cruise. We just gonna go all out. My wife loves her coffee and we do average 4 drinks a day at a minimum.😊😊

The Cheers package includes speciality coffees, gatorade, sodas and more. It’s not just alcohol.

Catching the record. We are heading out on our first cruise-Cruising Magic on September 30th-Oct 5th out of Norfolk. Any tips on this port? I have heard some horrible things.

I calculated the Australian prices and I got 2 energy drinks 3 juices 3 soft drinks 3 coffee 3 cocktails To break even everyday. But I could easily have all the free stuff too. So I'm confussed
