Congrats on making a bunch of progress and figuring out your gremlins!! Drag racing a stick shift turbo car, is literally the coolest thing on the planet!! If you’re here for any advice, coming from a turbo stick shift driver, get you a bias ply slick(Hoosier C07) and do a nice burnout, and up your 2 step, and let that thing eat! You’ll be deep into the 10s before you know it. You’re awesome Raquel!! 💪👌

The trunk birthing Raquel is like the rhino scene from Ace Ventura 😂. Also the trolling with the in car audio, I turned it up every time to hear only to get blasted to a loud drag launch transition 👂🩸 Great first outing, it’s hard to be consistent in a higher horsepower boosted car, let alone a stick one.

Heck of a time to find your channel with this being the first vid to pop up, your first time to the track in a while. Launches need a little work, RTs get a lil better, and you will be knocking socks off! Not saying you're bad, just need to get more seat time. Always remember practice and patience produces perfection. And HAVE FUN! 😊

What are you reving it to? Sounds like right when you come into boost your shifting. Gotta get those tires hot not for the launch but for further down the track

Looks like you had fun .. What 1/4 time and trap speed did you get ?

I love seeing other people go through the trunk to get their Camaro on/off a trailer lol

Need to tighten up the rebound on the rear shocks.. its squatting and unloading right at the start line. Also need to loosen the front end rebound so it extends more for weight transfer.. car ahould go low 11/hi 10s easy.

Good pulls. Watch the heat build up. Let it cool between runs.

practice practice practice , You need to find the sweet spot in launch rpm to keep the rpm from dipping too low coming out of the hole. 3.90 gear should be in the 10s

Yes it is 9:35 listen when you shift to 4th the clutch is 100% slipping and bad ...either the new clutch can't hold the power or isn't set up correctly 🤷 (not fully engaging)

Raquel. Your car exterior looks great. But how come you haven't considered upgrading your stock radio. We Will love to watch an episode on that for sure. Like get a full screen touch screen radio, 12 inch, with the birds eye view 4k 3d 360 degree camera for all 4 sides of Camero too. It will look so sick with that minor change. You'll thank me😊 😊

That launch control might be set a bit too low on RPM, it shouldn't bog down that much off the line. Still amazing, got some things to improve. I can see you making it into the 10s with some minor tweaks (burnout, higher RPM launch, earlier release of the button on the tree and something about gears or figuring if 3rd is better or going into 4th)

Glad to see you made it too the track. Just practice and get the launching down. Are you cleaning the tires off before you stage?

I thought for sure the clutch was slipping and sounded like you were short shifting it. Took me 2 trips to figure out my car liked slipping the clutch WAY more than just dumping the clutch. 1.58 60', 6.7@104, 10.4@133 with 5spd on 93 octane. Track makes cars act a whole different way vs the street, Hopefully the car was making decent mph

Raise that launch limiter or two step! 🤠🤘

11.7 is a big jump from 13. I'll bet you can improve that even more the more you do it.👍👍👍👍👍

Was it stock when you ran a 13.1? I ran a 12.6 with just some minor mods and street tires and rims on my gen5.

I didn’t hold the 2 step long enough didn’t realize until watching the footage I need to hold a couple seconds longer and it won’t bog like that

With all the cars in South Florida...it is a crime the drag strip (PBIR) was closed. TO have to go 4hrs away friggin blows!

Just a sincere question, am I the only one seeing you pull away when the light has been green for a couple tens of a second? Is that due to the throttle body issue? Anyway, great video! Hope to see the S10 return in the videos again, but I think that's because I'm more of a truck guy. Keep up the great work!

I thought you weren't happy with the times you were getting, so I assumed the clock started counting from the moment the light turned green and linked it to the throttle body issue. You're absolutely right about getting comfortable first, first get to know how everything responds and works is way more important then a fast reaction time! Great video! I enjoyed every second of it!

@@RecklessRaquel so that rpm rise at 3:19 in 3rd and 4th, you think that's the throttle body? Throttle body errors will typically through the car in limp mode, for safety.

I took my friends Jonathan’s throttle body .. I ran the car 5 times with his and never had an issue again.

Never said anyone was attacking me all I stated was I was having issues I took my friends throttle body because I had issues in the past where it was revving funky I swapped it and I didn't have the issue again thats all I said.. Of course it could be other things going on like the clutch on top of the throttle body.. I haven't drove the car after this video besides on the trailer.. All I said was I swapped it and never had a problem again, i ran the car 6 times after swapping them with no issues literally at all.. trust me I understand what you are saying but for the internet im going to figure it out with my builder and not everyone trying to diagnose my car on the internet.. just was stating what happened

I think the 2 step launch is killing you. These heavy cars need a good amount of clutch slip. Seems like every time the car launched it bogged. Turning the 2 step up is probably out of the question. What was the 60ft?

Oh no 2 step helps a lot I can slip the clutch a little bit the problem was I didn’t realize until after watching the videos is I let go of the 2step to fast and should of held it a little longer it would of been fine .. the best 60 ft I think was a 1.8

Drove around really easy to re surface it after I left the track, clutch company told me to.. it’s not slipping since so not sure

Not everybody drives through rain to gt to the track they race at some of us have to stay close to home wasn't thinking of long distance and weather I'm like 10 minutes from the track so if it's raining at home they are not racing
