honestly i just had so much fun with this album. it's not super special but i feel like in every track you can hear how much fun Uzi's having and every song is so varied and wild. it's definitely super messy but it's just so much dumb fun and almost every song is over the top and exciting.

I agree I personally dont enjoy the rage songs but I understand the appeal. However the rock in the middle I thought suited Uzi really well and the last leg of the track was epic. I see how they think its not a good album experience but I think its messy fun just like' you said

Uzi is really in an experimental phase with this #PinkTape album. Me personally I love it, but I feel this is gonna be one of those things where at first the masses isn't gonna like it, but as time goes by and the album ages people are gonna start to love and appreciate it. Like I understand as rap fans the rock/metal songs are gonna be hard to digest at first, and honestly people are gonna fully reject it. But as time goes people are going to come around.I definitely seeing this being a WLR moment where at first people trash it, but as it ages people are gonna come around and enjoy it. Personally I'm just happy that I've always had a wide music pallet

The thing about this “album” is that it has something for everybody. I’m not a big fan of rage Uzi or hard rock/metal Uzi or super melodic Uzi, so all those tracks were meh to me, but there were some other cuts on here where Uzi is rapping his ass off and that’s what I really enjoy from him. So I just took those hard rap tracks and saved them to my library. Regardless of what you like from Uzi there is guaranteed to be something here you can find. Bravo for actually seeing through the hype. Yet another album with basic rage beats is a breath of fresh air? Have you been listening to hip hop over the past couple years? The most "refreshing" tracks on this album are the ones where he basically just took tracks from bands from other genres and but them on his album and did like 30 seconds of vocals on them (werewolf and the end), and the main reason they're "refreshing" is because it's in the context of a boring trap album.

How is it a breath of fresh air when there have been so many rap rock fusions over the past few years both underground and mainstream, death grips, injury reserve, hell half the songs on this album sound like whole lotta red leftovers. Nothing original unique or innovative about this album other then uzi trying a sound that’s new for him.

It’s not too many in mainstream hip hop who is risky. Cover songs or not it’s a risk mashing it up with trap elements as a whole. Some of the metal songs won’t be familiar to many. Most niggas have no idea who babymetal even is. So he made the connection through this tape. Which is also risky. I know everyone wants to sound like the expert but the thing is for overall genre of hip hop now-this album is unique in its own right.

Uzi was never an album artist honestly, more so a light listen that you can take a few tracks away from the experience. Still so many tracks are redundant, others just show the one-flow-wonder element (crush em = myron), but it has its highlights. Gonna be very successful

i didn’t understand the first couple uzi albums but this one makes sense with the way he was trying to take it stylistically. it’s ahead of its times and it’s better than whole lotta red

@@mistahmayne1340there’s nothing safe about doing rock and metal on your album when ever rap album this year in the mainstream has been basic trap rap , he sampled WWE and had babymetal as the outro , how is that safe ? Be literally being so many sounds to the table lmao
