Keep all your documents in hand luggage, I get terrified to keep originals in check in luggage. Passport with visa stamp is the basic document that you will need in immigration. And rest of the documents will be there with you in your hand baggage.

In which University you study and which course? When you came to Germany?

Does TK insurance covers medical care for accidents during transport also OR only accident during work/ @ uni ?? Or does one need additional plan for accidents @ any public place

I dont think you need any additional plan to get treated if one mets with an accident (god forbid). I had a minor accident, and my leg was bruised. I didnt pay to get checked up. I use TK.

Transcripts hve a different format/template and this document is verified and stamped by your university, mostly university charge to prepare this document. Few university also have an online feature while for others you will have to personally check with the admin department

Hello Ms. Ertiqua, I have received admission into Deggendorf Institute of Technology. I will arrive in Germany on 4th October 2022. Since my course is online, can I stay at some other place which is 100-200 km away from the University? What are the problems I can face? I tried contacting the administration of my university and they said that the visa is usually for the place of the university but you may contact the foreigner's office regarding this. I'm afraid of contacting the foreigners office because I don't want to give them a wrong impression of me as I don't want my residence permit to get rejected. I'm planning to stay with a friend in eichstätt which is 200 km away from Deggendorf. Regensburg is the closest which is 80 km. Which would be more suitable? Your help and advice would be kindly appreciated in this matter! Kind regards.

I would suggest you to do the city registration near or in the same city where your university is. I dont know the exact problems that can occur but I would not risk it in the beginning and when your university administration is saying so. Later when everything is fixed, you can move out from the city, do de-registration and live with your friend and do registration again by getting your name on the rental contract and moving ARD tax Address also.

First is the visa stamp on your passport, this stamp you will get in India with some validity like 3 months. Then it will be continued with your RP. So RP is your residence permit, which will allow you to live and work in Germany. Which visa are you coming to Germany? EU Blue card?

One year ka studentkollege attend karke ja sakte hai, for which you need to know B1 level of German, to get into public studentkollege.

If you have a fulltime job, the first permit will be given for 4 years. And you can renew it as soon as its going to expire. (Assuming you still have the job)

No you dont need to. Unless you are going for some paperwork to Foreign office or Bank for some paperwork. I do carry it while crossing borders (European Borders)
