Average Cost of living in Germany explained along with how to calculate in-hand salary in Germany. The tax system is only based for people who have a German job contract. Doesnt apply for ICT visa because in some companies, the ICT visa holder dont pay for pension or unemployment or long term illness tax.

Yes its on top of your salary. Kindergeld is given per child. So in case you have two then you will get it for 2 children.

It depends which company you are applying to. There are firms that do value foriegn education more than Indian one. But again there’s no fixed rule for this.

At this age children dont start school here, they generally go to Kindergarten and their only they will be able to learn I think. I know a kid who was here in Germany since the age of 2-3 so she directly went to Kindergarten. She speaks German more than her parents now 😅 She was able to grasp from cartoon and other friends in the society.

In facebook groups, I have seen Thali system, so you can also order food from Indian homes. Sometimes women are cooking food at home and making deliveries. Otherwise, yes there are canteens with food items available. These canteens are not a typical mess or canteen. You can search in the near vicinity for food items.
