You could also go to like 50k-100k Diff Fluid in the new center Diff and it will prevent either the front or rear from unloading the power when losing grip..

I love my mini erevo vxl. I need to get this diff its definitely a squirrelly car. I also have the full size erevo. I would live to see traxxas build a true 1/10 scale erevo. In between the mini and full size now. Good video bro!

The extended wheelbase rear arms also makes a huge difference, keeps the weight further forward and helps the Revo stay more stable

From which model do you order the Arm’s from? Also what are guys running for F & R Diff fluid? I think the stock fluid is way too thin and basically makes them open diffs and causes alot of handling problems from that alone.. maybe some sway bars too. The Center Diff deff seems to keep the power from going to wrong wheels and seems muchh smoother. Nice vid!

@@mxracingunlimitedltd7784I’m running 7k Diff fluid and it seems to be good enough for gravel/dirt and some tarmac. (A bit more traction on tarmac so could wear out the diffs a bit faster) No issues to far with that weight fluid.

That center diff helps so much at keeping the back diff from stripping and the handling difference is due to the rear not having full power when the on the throttle, instead of flipping over the power is pushed to the front wheels, if u pay close attention u will see the front wheels balloon more than the rear or spin up faster than the rear! Definitely a worthy upgrade to this truck! My rear diff stripped after a few runs and servo dumped on the first lol savox fixed that issue tho!

I'm looking into getting a mini erevo, but I see that the rear tires looked crooked, like too much toe in. Is that normal on these rc's with the pushrod suspension arms? can it be avoided? Any tips on trick on that topic?

No its pretty typical to have the rear tires toed in like that…..it actually helps with handling and stability…..the links are non adjustable so you’d have to buy some aftermarket turnbuckles that are adjustable if you wanted to adjust them

With 1 battery in the mini revo id recommend loosening your shocks a little. The car looks like it’s sitting a little high for the erevo. Squat should be a little more than that. This might be one of the reasons why it’s so Squirrley. Although I seem to remember the stock, Springs were very soft I can’t remember. I’d recommend upgrade to some harder Springs.
