You ever need a 3 minute call for a cameraman, or just need to shower the harbor gunk off before heading home, I gochoo! :) Sent an email to the website regarding the same. It can't hurt to have a neighbor on your side! I yelled at Oscar yesterday during the rain, to tell him "Good Job" but the rain was coming down pretty hard, so I am quite sure he didn't "hear" me, but just know you've got a local fan regardless! edit: As a cancer survivor myself... You may already know this, but there are products like HEET that you can add to the gas to pull out any remaining water. I believe if there's ethanol in the fuel, that will do it over time as well. Obviously wouldn't work with 20gal of water in the tank, but if you want to get the last few bits out, maybe try this.
Your inspiration to the everyday guy who runs into trouble, you show a never give in attitude
Phase separation - fuel Every single electrical device, including the harnesses on that boat are going to die in short order. You can deny that inevitability and endure constant break downs or you can acknowledge the reality and start replacing.

As a plumber that had no clue about boats but life kinda led me working as a professional skipper for over 10 years now... all I can say that docking is an art form that requires calmness and mostly super slow technical movements, so remember a few panic attacks here and there will be part of the learning curve :) cheers

Been there my friend. In 2019 I was diagnosed with stage 3 almost 4 cancer. All my Lymph nodes were contaminated. Fortunately I responded well to Chemo and did not require Radiation Treatment. After surgery (removed all the Lymph nodes) I was cancer free. Still go in every 3 months, but so far everything is looking great.
You should add a sea cork, a valve to shut the raw water out of the boat before the strainer, if there is enough room for it. Close the valve every time you are leaving the boat for extended periods.

If I'm not mistaken, it's just as big a problem spitting gas into the water in the river as it is in the marina, except it won't be so obvious who is responsible for the sheen. You probably know that you can be held responsible for any spillage that you create anywhere on the water.

Are old two stroke engines forbidden then? They spew about 20 % of the fuel right out the exhaust. While a spill of diesel oil is quite bad, a small amount of gasoline will rapidly evaporate and isn't really a big problem.

Really enjoyed the boat content - I was hooked! Congrats getting it back on the water!
Happy to hear your health is going well. To all of us thats very important
What a Journey , thanks for sharing and taking us through it, highs and lows.
I live on the gulf coast and work on the water. Marine environments offer unlimited challenges especially in cold climates. Wishing you luck as you continue your boat adventures. If I could give some suggestions, run some kind of heater in the winter, and seek input from long time boat owners in your area. I’m really rooting for you and don’t want to see your ownership experience get more painful
Glad to have you back...looking forward to the rest of the trip...
Congrats on the continued good health!
Congratulations Chris, great to hear
*Great job! Good to see you guys got the boat sorted out, it’s amazing what a few determined guys with a good work ethic can accomplish*
Please put the product "heat" into your fuel. Ut helps absorb and residual water in the gas
Happy for your clean scan Chris and keep B is for Boat content coming!

Congrats on your health mate. We're the same age and you've done a lot for my (skin) cancer awareness through sharing your story.
18:30 The boat looks soo nice Chris! You all ‘did a great job!’
Please buy a big simple waterproof tarp to keep the rain ( and maybe the cold wind) out of the back of the boat when you are working on it. Mount it from the radar arch to the back and just work dry, Feel a bit warmer and keep the enginebay dry. Better for all stuff in there and better for yourself.
Great to hear the fantastic news about your health 👍 Stay strong 💪
It's awesome seeing an Oregon KZreadr nice and refreshing seeing a local guy on here and look forward to more videos

Im happy you saved the boat with minimal losses! Cant wait for the update on the car builds and the finishing touches on the boat!
A simply amazing transformation in such a short amount of time!! Congrats!
Radios on boats historically need constant supply to keep settings from being lost. In fact many boats have separate breaker just for that purpose,
congrats for the 2 years! glad things looking good!

Fun idea for when you are with ChrisFix and Tavarish. If you happen to go to either of their houses/shops it would be cool to see you review your their cars. I think it would be cool to get your opinion on their builds etc. Would be a fun and easy video to make that would probably do well :)

Hey Chris most marinas have wifi and you can get flood sensors and it will alert you when you start getting water in the boat and then u can call the marina and have them.check on it while u are on the way
Thanks so much! I really appreciated that video and the break down for sure. Bigger logs and rocks freak me out….I am gonna practice this technique for sure.
Hi Chris 😊 love your channel have followed you for years, watch all episodes😃 Regarding your boat electric wire harness for your audio and everything else. Be careful not to have unprotected wires, all wires must be protected by a circuit breaker in case of faults, if not you risk fire!🔥 sad times for the boating experience 😬

Happy to hear about you being cancer free. I lasted a year before I had a recurrence of mine. I go in on March 14th for another chunk of my back to be removed and some more lymph nodes from my armpit 😒
I'm glad to see the boat recovery. The series involving the boat is the best! I also like the car content, though I follow a few car KZreadr's.
amazing news! 2.5 years! that's fantastic news!
5:12 usually the fin thing on the outboard should be even with or slightly below the bottom of the transom I think. (At Least that’s what I was told when buying a Nissan 5hp Motor for my 14ft aluminum boat.) That one sticks way below the bottom but since it’s just a inflatable dingy it shouldn’t matter.
super excited for the custom boat project!!
Lots of love to you so happy your staying better
Great result with your scan buddy I’m just starting the journey with my wife rough times….🤞
I'm glad you're doing well 👍
Congrats! Yacht 2.0 looks and sounds better than ever, and now your dinghy can double as a life raft. :)
Great news on all levels! Really pleased thats worked out for you. Perserverance is an outstanding quality. Looking forward to more boaty things. I shall watch the Insurance info episode later.
Loving this series, I'm currently servicing the engines (and ironing out a few electrical issues) on the 'missus Sealine! Great news about the cancer, my sister was diagnosed three years ago, unfortunately we lost her last September.
Congratulations on your cancer free diagnosis. Very happy to hear that. Cancer is such a horrible thing. I lost my dad a year ago this month to lung cancer and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with and I wasn’t even the one with the cancer. I pray every day that we will find a cure because no one deserves to die like that. Thanks for sharing your story.
The power of positivity. Keep going!
I hope a see a bunch of boat videos this summer of you actually enjoying it.
As a retired marine master tech with 45 years experience, you will be chasing electrical goblins (after sinking) until it is completely re-wired. Those goblins will show their ass at the worst possible time. Good luck and be safe.
Congrats on your prognosis.
For the radio... It has three power cables, positive, negative and a usually yellow remote positive... You connect the positive and negative to your battery and your remote to your ignition, that way the radio turns off once your ignition is off
I would do a radio check. I would also just leave heavy batteries in instead of cement as they are more useful unless you are looking to make someone cement shoes. Awesome you got it running. Some years ago I rebuilt a repo 39 sea ray that needed everything put back. Fun stuff.
Hell yeah boys! Well done!!!
