No they still paid Klay while not playing for 2 year's part of his max contract which he said himself what other organization would've done that. They offered him 48 million for 2 he declined it and took 50 million for 3 year's he let his emotions take over cause he didn't like the fact of coming off the bench and not starting. If he would've stayed in the starting lineup he wouldn't have left he was unhappy about the circumstances. So Draymond contact wasn't a slap in the face even though he should've done the things he's been doing they still needed that defense he brings to the team. They know other teams would be happy to get Draymond defense on their team even with his bad choices of antics

He’s not the same defender, shooter, his athleticism has ofc declined, and he’s not even the same finisher he used to be.
