Love the way you've shown the rate at which this engine sucks in fuel....and wow, your lucky this runs on JetA and not on Avgus ;)
WOW !!!!! That is so cool. At first, I didn’t understand why you needed the jet secured as you have it. Then I saw the dirt being displaced behind your car. Thanks for the demo.
4:27 the coolest sound ever !
So cool!! I could never afford even the just the engine itself. let alone an RC aircraft capable of housing one of these beasts. But it's so cool to watch it in action!! Shaazzaamm!! Thanks for the video!
German turbine and german car. You know what's good. Thumbs up
A Liter per Minute :-D Never managed to make my Corvette drink a fraction of that. But this thing will give a lot of fun I guess!
Wow! Sounds great. Very expensive when you get up to this level.
this smiling ... i can feel it bro ! very cool !
when I save up enough money I'm gonna stick one of these on the back of my bicycle hahaha

Totally getting this and popping this in my bike and maybe even skate board....
2 of these for my on going ultralight project would be wonderful...perhaps one day...for now i have to be satisfied with the rotax 503 😀
I had visions of that palette taking off from right under your poor Mercedes lol. Amazing bit of kit mate👍👍
LOL Excellent video my friend. Had me laughing.
Wow. That thing drinks the fuel!
Well done
Pretty good jet engine
I want one :D , Nice video
Wow, the start of do-it-your-self portable jet packs...
Awesome!
I'm hoping a company will come along that will make something with this much thrust that will be priced in a range that someone other than the completely-in-f'n-sane will be able to seriously consider owning one

B Belcher if anyone builds an RC plane with this thing, expect it to cost north of $20,000 USD. and at least 20% more in Europe and Asia.
@bbelcher4355

solomonshv Trust me, if this fellow pays $20,000 for an airplane, it will be one I GET INSIDE OF and fly! Let me clarify that a bit. If I pay $5000.00 for an airplane, I will NOT be standing on the ground piloting it.
@solomonshv

B Belcher this motor alone costs about $6500 in the US. the next lowest model, P200, costs $4500. if your financial situation is the kind where you have to think twice about $20,000 at a time on a hobby, then this product is not for you.
@bbelcher4355

solomonshv Well thats the stupidest thing I've read in quite awhile, I'm part owner in a REAL airplane and paid CONSIDERABLY less than half of that. A good scrounger, that knows a machinist, can shop Alibaba, and build one of these engines producing as much thrust or more for a $1000. A couple fellows with some gonads about them could put together a company to build them (the engines) for a third or less of the advertised price simply by having a You Buy it its Yours, attitude and be in the business for the passion of it and foregoing 6 figure salaries with all the perks etc. Stick around long enough, (assuming I do too) and you may see it yet.
@solomonshv

B Belcher you're still not getting it! no one gives a shit about what you paid for your airplane! i could have bought a honda accord for $25,000, but I didn't. i bought a porsche panamera turbo for 6 times more. did i need need to spend that money? no. but i did because I wanted to. if a person wants an RC plane that costs 100 grand and he can afford it, then he'll buy it.
That is awesome! Man, that thing drinks the gas @ full chooch! I have always wanted a turbine powered A-10 hog. One day man, One day... Cool video!
So 4 screws are holding back 30 kg of thrust -glad you use fresh wood.
I love the smell of jet fuel in the morning...
Perfect landing....just before you ran out of fuel...
Waow amazing

Super Cool Dude, What a neat toy, I love it, I want one, I bet the neighbours all love it too, and to think this vid was made in 2013, wow, I wonder how much power it can generate?
this shit can lift you up the fucking sky im going to buy 4 of these in future...

Beautiful sound but you can actually see the fuel level going down...still want one !!
Lovely

Great run but you should never stand beside an engine as a blade separation could kill you or a spectator. Best place I think is 45 degree to the front. Congrats on your successful first run! Nice video! I forget my ears too...
This is awesome! Is the mount secure enough to prevent lateral movement? Looks like it would slide off given enough force.
amazing )
wow ! it sure is thirsty!
What else would you do after running a jet engine for 5 minutes on full thrust other than immediately put your hand flat on it?!

Thanks for the post...SWEET! But OUCH on that fuel consumption...how many pounds of thrust does the 300 get; the RX200 gets 50lbs. of thrust so is this one 75?

super great! I would like to get my hands on one of these. But that bottle of fuel seemed to go empty in no-time!. How much flight time do you get with one of these installed in an RC-plane?
Great job. I Love JetCats I have two P220rxi, just curious what throttle curve setting are you running?

I've seen how these JetCats are built and it does mimic the real thing but why not go further by adding turbines and possibly even a second shaft for the front fan as you'd see in a full-scale jet? That should make it more gas efficient because you'd get a much better air compression ratio.

@@thefront4357 Or devise a way to add fuel to the super heated exhaust for afterburners.
You know, people always say "First time start." or "First start/run.", but actually, it's not the first time that brand new turbine which you bought first hand right out of its box was started. You're not the first one to lay hands on it and work with it via a receiver either. At the factory it was already fired up. All the electronic computer controlled equipment was such as the pump, starter motor thermometer, rev meter ecu & gsu etc. were also tested to see if everything works as it should and to see if it responds to receiver signals. It was also programmed there for you before it was boxed and shipped to whatever shop in the world has ordered stock. Everything gets tested before boxing and shipping to shops. They can't afford it to let faulty products get packed and shipped to shops.

Hi Kasper, did you have a chance to confirm its rated thrust of 300 N via test? Awesome video!
never stand along side of jet engine in case of blade off just in front
Did you attach it to the RC plane? Im 48kg , I can fly using 2 engine like this ;)
Hi kasper greetings from California and merry Christmas, this a very late response, did you put that motor in a jet kit and fly it, and do you have any uploads of flying with it?
could you explain to me the accessories to make this machine run like remote control, battery, etc coz i have p400 pro and i'll test it but i don't what I should have prepare

What's really cool is that the JetCat P400 is used to power the NASA X-56 test aircraft. Built by Lockheed Martin for the US airforce and then turned over to NASA. Very, very cool indeed.

i have a simple & important question ,we assume we are under heavy rain during a normal rainstorm day, could this engine still work fine ? you cant consider the danger, consider it just as a simple test. what do you think about this situation ? thank you so much
I've been thinking about buying one of these, mounting it on a longboard and taking it to a old unused ww2 airstrip near Wisley. Yeah I have too much time on my hands and a lack for interest in my own safety.

My only concern was this is will it melt the plastic of the nylon on a ultralight glider? How much heat does it put off from 10 ft away will it melt plastic from ten feet away
Was is it easy to set up? Did it come with everything on the table except the fuel?
I Have A Few Of These!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They Sure Are Very Loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone tell me what that same setup would cost now? What fuel is that and how much ? Love that sound. A cool toy to mess around with
what is the pump voltage at full power?
im not afraid that the turbine will blow at idle... im not beside it when applying full power- the 300 produce 300newton of thrust, thats about 31 kilogram at 20 degree celcius.

Sir how much jet engine price?
How many pounds of thrust does it put out and will two of these power a cri-cri. Finally, how much do they cost?
Did you build it or buy it- if you brought it- how much did it cost?
ufff
Du ku' godt lige have vinklet den lidt så bilen fik et lille strejf af godterne.
300N is the thrust, not power. The power a jet engine depends on its speed and is usually considered irrelevant. It's the thrust that matters. I'd like to see someone show the thrust during the test, like perhaps having the engine mounted on a dolly held by a springs or bungy cords.
can you find me 6 models of this turbine? obviously for the purchase

I have a great idea !. Jet engine - bicycle - paraglider
I wanna attach it in my cycle
Where did you bye bro,and how much?)
How much fuel does it use at full power
It has some manual errors it doesn't doing proper exhausting job and it has Excellent combustion chamber try to change the place of ignition plug or arrange proper nozzle
How much thrust they can make?
I just bought 2 P400 turbines. Can you give me the wiring diagram like yours? They're for sale by the way. I bought the wrong turbines instead of P400-GH.
