You were dropping f bombs like crazy in this episode perhaps because your other half wasn’t around,
definitely one of the things that i will miss the most is Corey and his simplicity, what a nice guy, should give him a very special gif before you move! Btw, al the other guys at the ducati shop look so nice too!

Yeah we will miss all these guys...great dudes and passionate about bikes. They will be out to visit once we get settled so you'll see them again!
My 160,000 mile Toyota sequoia had its first spark plugs change. High performance baby:)
Jaret, if you’re interested in suspension tuning check out a guy named Dave Moss. His suspension setup skills are no joke and he can do it in person or over Zoom/FaceTime. I promise you will notice a difference afterwards!
Jaret, thanks for sharing this journey with us. It is a sad but happy moment for y'all to bid farewell to the SB Ducati crew (they will be missed) but we sure hope to see them all again one day, maybe even up in PA. Safe travels to you and teens - I'm looking forward to your new content on what will definitely be another Awesome Campisi Custom build.
very informative. Thanks Jaret, I am picking up a 2018 M1200R this month so learning heaps
A quick tip to drain some last bits of old oil: once the old oil is finished flushing itself out, blow some compressed air from the filling port. This would flush out most of the remaining old oil.

better have a drier on the air compressor
Good luck with the new place, I can’t wait to see! Who did you use to transport your bikes back to the east coast?

Looking forward to seeing the build with Dado back in PA ,👍👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
Good luck with the house move guys ☺️

thank you brother greetings from California!
Rear brake go soft yet? I have the 2019 Anniversario (1200S) and going on my third brake bleed.
Very informative. Thank you!
Stoked you're doing a 2020 1200s build mate- I picked mine up in Feb and it's stunning. Take it for a night ride and see if you find the screen too bright - when there are no street lamps the dash is so bright for me even in 'night mode' I can see my face reflected in my visor and its super distracting. I'm looking for a fix. If you find a sweet mod add it to the series! Cheers from Melbourne
Gonna be so fun....good luck with safe travels
@JaretCampisi

thanks we are super excited!
check the static sag both front and rear and then the rider sag with you on the bike... static sag should be somewhere between 5-15mm and rider sag between 20-35mm... try to aim for a balance between front and rear so the bike is and rides planted... this way you won’t get front diving when braking, your front wheel won’t tend to wobble that much and you’ll improve grip at the rear...
@JaretCampisi
3 жыл бұрын
yep thats what we did thanks!
Can't wait for you and Dado to start working on that beast!
I cannot wait for Dado!
So backing the nut off means more sate so it will sit lower?
“Honestly I have no fucking idea” 😂 Love watching you guys 👍🙏
Where will you be in PA?
Love the honesty about the suspension, “man I don’t F’in know”. Haha that’s exactly how I feel about mine. I have all that fully adjustable suspension but have no idea if it needs to be adjusted 🤷🏻♂️😂. All I know is it feels really good to ride

Love the biscottis! I have a hypermotard 821 SP, and it's VERY spicy to drive.
@JaretCampisi
3 жыл бұрын
haha spicy I love it they sure are!
nice, more or less exact same as 821 im sure re service, yeah while mines under full warr im just going to get the dealer to do it once a year, after that i may do it myself, no spanner wrench for 821 on the 1200, 821 is like traditional bikes re chain tension adjustments etc. so no Ducati dealer where you're moving in PA? where the nearest one? pretty sure you can buy the plug in to remove service light / check for faults?
@JaretCampisi
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah my closest Ducati dealer back in PA is two hours away but its a good friend of mine who runs it so I'll probably take my bikes there to him regardless
Thanks for your honesty on oil and suspension setup; those things can be confusing. The Ducati boys are nice; I like Preston's quiet confidence. But, looking forward to your move. Hope to see some video on the arrangement of transportation of your cars.
@JaretCampisi
3 жыл бұрын
haha thanks man glad you enjoyed it...we will miss the Ducati boys for sure
we need to dial in that Diavel!..Great Video..;)
So, you're not moving near Mechanicsburg or Harrisburg?
you can use dry lube for your chain 👍 nothings flying around 😅
The reason I followed your challenge is because I am looking to get a Ducati monster 1200s...side note I live in EN Pennsylvania ✌️
Hey Jaret, I was wondering if there's any updates on the old Mexhanic Rory?? He was a great personality for the channel
Might want to check your owner's manual on the chain adjustment; my '19 1200R calls for adjustment on the sidestand, not a hubstand. I use a digital caliper for checking the slack, and it does indeed show a different measurment from one to the other. Just sayin'.
'nother great and informative video, I was taught this, tyres, brakes, suspension, chain and sprockets, are so important to understand and then learn to adjust right. Then always, always service the bike, an oil change will keep an engine's health up, and tell you if it potentially isn't well. Thanks again.
@JaretCampisi
3 жыл бұрын
Yep you are absolutely correct!
Curious how I would fit on a monster 1200s What is your height and weight? I’m 6’1”. 255lbs.
Dave moss recommends that no matter what bike you hop on (and ducatis from the showroom floor are notorious for this), always check for static sag in the rear. That's the amount the bike sags under its own weight, before you even sit on it. If there's none, you'll get thrown off the seat
@JaretCampisi
3 жыл бұрын
yeah the rear def felt better after being adjusted for sure

@@JaretCampisi it should be a lot more balanced with not as brutal a weight transfer on accel and braking, if set up right. And there should be zero pogo. I'm sure Preston sorted you out if he used to race :)

AWESOME BROOO!!!!! 💯💯💯
I have the same bike and same problems with the suspension. Where can i find the Ducati factory suspension settings manual, so i can set it up for my weight and hight? Can not find it anywhere:(

Sup big dog 👍🏻. Suspension is definitely one of the most important settings on a bike imo. I absolutely understand what you’re saying though dude about hopping on different bikes all the time i guess you rarely get used to the bikes true mannerisms in your short time with them. I always get mine set i.e preload,compression,rebound and the sag.

Watch Dave moss tuning!!! Suspension is what keeps the tires connected to the pavement. Super important! Learning how the suspension works improved my ability to hone in the bike. Suspensions never stay the same after you set them as they need to change as you improve. @davemosstuning is the man!

Ducati doesn’t recommend silicone be put on any threaded engine part. They specify that Shell alvania R3 be used or lithium grease is a 2nd best. Hope he’s a better friend than a mechanic

You don't need to do that on the newer ducati models....in 2019 Ducati actually sent out a bulletin to dealers letting them know on new models they no longer have to service or inspect the oil mesh filters.
