9:12 It’s the helmet cable locks. They loop through the two reversed overlapping “j” hooks under the seat. Loop one end of the cable into the hooks, then through the helmet, then back into the hooks. Putting the seat on locks them. Same setup on my monster, took me a minute to figure it out too. Looking forward to this build!

Finally Dado and team is back. I really liked the episodes of Cory and team but with Dado it feels like family working together. Looking at you guys work and the banter between Jaret and Dado was so funny. This is what was missing in the channel I guess....the feeling of being home and working with loved ones. I really love the entire episode and I love the way the bike looks now. Tail tody looks waayyy better than what it got originally. It gives it sort of a Triumph Trident look from the back. Im super excited for this build, i have a 2020 Monster 1200S and have been having a hard time finding parts for 17+ m1200s. And that cable is for holding your helmet to the bike when parked.

Hi Jaret, I’m from Italy, i used to have a 2018 M821. The two cables are not used for choke people 🤣 but those are under the seat to lock your helmet. If you can see between the rear sub frame there is a hook. Also if you adjust the the seat in the lower position there’s not gonna be a gap no more, i think. Take care Love your videos on Ducati!!!

Thank you we are having a blast so far! My V4SP got pushed back to June or July now which is pretty upsetting to me since people started receiving them in the US last week...

Sooooo good to see Dado back wrenching (as you Americans like to call it). When are you going to start running builds from the new house? Good to see the team back together and Dozer too. Congrats on the new chapter in your lives. Would love to come visit you guys from the UK as both my wife and I are massive Ducati fans.
