Oh yes she has a beautiful voice! I do agree, the instrumentals are quite laid back here. You should check out some of their more energetic tracks, such as "The Howling" (live version at Black Symphony concert) :D

I love Sharon's voice she is amazing. you should listen to Paradise (What About Us) it's Within Temptation and Tarja the original singer for Nightwish. It's an amazing song

Ahhhh I’m so excited you checked out Within Temptation!!! I’ve loved them since I was a teenager. Sharon’s voice is absolutely ethereal! Memories is a gorgeous song but also much softer than most of what you’ll find on their albums. If you ever check out more, some of my favorites are Our Solemn Hour, The Howling, Faster, The Reckoning, and a classic, Ice Queen.
