They're still making music, but they take actual breaks in between comebacks, which is wonderful.

Also, Rise won miss Korea before debuting and Sojung and Ashley have solo albums out! Sojung released a single some time ago called Island, Zuny(she was a big hit trainee and is friends with Jhope) is now into acting, they left polaris ent but havent disbanded as Ladies Code also Polaris gave them the rights to their name as Ladies Code so probably in the near future they will come back if they feel like it. Ashley (she was also a cube trainee and trained with the CLC girls since she was originaly gonna debut with them and is besties with Rose from blackpink)she also friends with half industry lol, BM from Kard, Peniel from BTOB, etc, is from New York and know Japanese, Korean, English and Spanish. Eunb was best friends with Rise, they were like one, her dream was to get on the billboard on USA and after the accident lavelys (the fandom) made "Ill smile even if it hurts" One of their most sad songs cause it talks about dark things made it so her dream was made a reality as well as Rise's one, she wanted to perform one day in Japan with Ladies Code but sadly couldn't, so then they had a concert memorial and had one in Japan. I hope u enjoyef the songs and hope to actually keep seeing ladies code in this channel, you made my night better with this reactions since they are so underrated and almost nobody reacts to them or knows them 💗

I LOVE that you look into “older groups” and don’t just react to whoever it is all the other reactors are listening to. I’ve only been listening to KPOP for 2 years but a lot of the groups I like are unfortunately inactive and a lot of reactors won’t touch them. I haven’t gotten into Ladies Code yet, but I know of Ashley from her videos with Eric Nam. Your reaction definitely pushes me in the direction to check them out. Now if you ever want to dive into my ultimate, Infinite, let me know and I can lead you to the right videos. Hahaha. Again thank you for showing love to lesser reacted groups.

Agreed, I'm loving catching up on older kpop songs, although I've been a fan since 2008 :) Infinite "Be Mine" is like a top ten song for me. Definitely recommend them as well.

Ladies Code are very much underrated and their music has always been overshadowed by the history of the group. What you said at 13:20 about their early music giving the same vibe as early Mamamo resonates with me a lot. The reason why I love Ladies Code's music is that in each of their era they brought a different style of music slightly ahead of the trend that I still enjoy today in other groups: - early Ladies Code is very jazzy like what Mamamoo would do early on a year later - post-accident Ladies Code is more electronic and dreamy, like a slightly darker version of WJSN or early OT12 LOONA - late Ladies Code is very retro synth like a lot of popular tracks in kpop this year, although admittedly maybe Ladies Code was a bit more funky while the trend this year is closer to synthwave/city pop I think you missed a few tracks like "I'm Fine Thank You", but I am not complaining as it is sometimes a bit painful to listen to it without bringing back the pain. Also all of their bsides are very very good, my favorite is probably "Jane Doe".

They are sooooo beyond talented and had so much potential. Their debut was awesome

I feel U. Sojung is one of the best vocalist in the industry. She NEEDS to succeed as a solo artist :((( She was a contest of the first season of The Voice Korea and almost got to the finals against other HUGE singers. She's THAT good.

You should for sure check out Galaxy and The Rain mini album! Both these mini albums are some of my favorite kpop albums ever! 0 skips honestly. They were supposed to have a thrilogy album project but it was scrapped after The Rain.

The members are Ashley(she is the leader and its the one with long brown hair) , Rise💗 (the one who had the dance with the boy scene) , Eunb 💗(the one with short brownish/orangie hair) , Sojung (the one with the voice u really like) and Zuny (the one with her hair up) all that in the first video 💗 (sorry, i dont know how to put captions with the numbers 🥺)

Loved your reaction to this! I discovered them a couple months ago(I'm a fan of Ashley Choi and had no idea she was in an idol group) and was blown away by how good their music is. Like others have mentioned, there are a couple MV's left, most notably, "I'm Fine, Thank You" which was made after the two members died. I hope they come back again in the future but all the members are doing their separate things. Ashley has her own youtube channel and she co-host a podcast on Dive Studios called "Get Real" with Peniel of BTOB and BM from KARD. She also does radio work on Arirang Radio. She's a total sweetheart.

They have always been super underrated! Them and Spica - and Spica disbanded and I was so mad because no one appreciated them T_T But yeah, I will never understand and I'm happy you checked them out! Check out Spica too please, I think you'll love them too.

Absolutely love SPICA, two of the girls are in their own group now, too.... I believe they're called Keembo? They just put out a new song, but talk about underrated, their duo is crazy underrated. The only thing about Spica is unfortunately their name sounds super racist in the U.S. - even if people understand it's not meant that way, can't help that it still sounds like a racial slur. But I think that issues gaining popularity in Korea, too, for other reasons? They were one of the most talented girl groups vocally, though... and I miss the whole group together. The youngest joined another group that may have disbanded already, dunno.

''Feedback'', ''Set Me Free''' and ''Bad Girl'' are my favorite Ladies Code songs. I have to thank you for this reaction to Ladies Code, I agree a lot with you about the great talent of these girls. I only discovered them after their accident, but Galaxy was amazing when it came out. I've liked them ever since, and hope they can do more comebacks, though a lot of groups have been saying they haven't disbanded, I have yet to see one that has left their companies, and have had a comeback :( On another note, if you like really quirky videos, you should check out WJSN sub-unit Chocome, which recently debuted. Very reminiscent of Orange Caramel (also another really quirky group).

Ahhhh, I hadn't seen Galaxy since it released... I totally forgot they added two dancers to the choreo to represent the two members that died... kinda hitting me hard, I didn't expect it to but I just completely forgot they did that in the vid. I took it pretty hard when the accident happened, it hit the kpop community hard overall... we saw a lot of our favorite idols go their funerals, etc. Also, I'm pretty sure Galaxy was the first original song they did after the accident without the two other girls.

yeaaaaah girls!!! They were on my 'Girl Group Vocals' request for a reason!!! And you still got 2 songs from then on there so get hype. Sojung is so incredible: she suffered from anorexia for some time--she is noticeably tiny in PrettyPretty and Hate You especially TT--and basically dragged herself back to health and happiness by her fingernails. She was still in recovery when the accident happened, and she was injured so badly that she was in a coma that it was expected that she wouldn't survive, or at least would be so injured she'd never perform again. And here she is still out there living and thriving, not backsliding into anorexia even after all the hard things she endured. All the girls are amazing but I love and admire Sojung so so much, she's honestly an inspiration to me.

I keep thinking there are new fans out there who only know the latest mega hits from the biggest super groups. They have no idea and I feel sorry for them.

I dunno if you see old comments on your older vids, but a lot of people noticed the dark themes in the Ladies Code vids... especially after their accident where two of the girls died. I think someone made a vid pointing out creepy stuff in the last vid they made before the accident... like almost predicting it. I don't remember how believable the theories were, but there was definitely creepy coincidences in their vids leading up to the accident. I think Kiss Kiss was the very last song they all did together, and that one has the most weird stuff in it. Also, I could be wrong, but I think when the three remaining girls moved on, it wasn't just people associating sadness with the group afterwards that led to their group just kind of dwindling... but it probably didn't help that the two girls that died were known to be the girls that helped picked the other girls up and tended to be very cheerful. They were much more light-hearted, so it was extra sad knowing how nice they were, especially because we found out groups like T-ara had problems with bullying not too long before those girls died.
