Ascolta la Voce is one of the few songs which must be tantalizing and evoke different emotions according to his present state of mind.That's why it is never the same,I guess he allows himself to improvise in promptu,no need to be rehearsed,the music simply goes through him and he lets it out for us to hear,witness.This rendition is the full measure of his great talent,art and mastery of this skill.

The first use to be my favorite until I heard the second one. The first is beautiful and touches every part of the heart while the second is mesmerizing and feels every part of my soul. I love them both and you are right in that we cannot and should not compare the two. They are both epics in their own ways. Your reactions are very professional and uniquely wonderful. I love them very much. Thank you! His ability to ad-lib is nothing like I have ever heard before. I can do that with my guitar but he is using his voice and without saying a word. Wow!

Thanks for the reaction. No need to understand the lyrics of a song. Dimash the meaning of the song conveys its singing-full set of emotions-it's fiction! I was at his concert.2.5 hours passed like 1 minute.I would listen for all eternity.I have never heard such a song, although I have heard a lot.It IS UNIQUE. Спасибо за реакцию. That was a great reaction to the most amazing and diverse Singer/Performer in the world. I have 3 more double reactions for you. From the Chinese show "The Singer" "Autumn Strong" on the Gloria Wu channel "The Story Behind Autumn Strong" then the version from his Arnau concert in Kiev last March. "Daididau" again Gloria Wu with the back-story, then his Bastau concert version. Last "Daybreak" Gloria Wu then again Bastau version. Hi. From Brazil. He really has a striking elegance. The visual production of your presentations creates a wonderful atmosphere. The touch he gives with his melisma and high notes is impressive. It hypnotizes everyone and plants in us the desire to see more and more other songs (each with a different surprise) and feel the most diverse emotions. Below is my suggestion for the link to the song "Daybreak" episode 8 of his participation in the "The Singer" that took place in China in 2017. This link shows the scenes of the quanti concerned he was on the day of the presentation because he became ill with fever and a lot of sore throat, and the day before he lost his voice. In an interview in another video he commented that he miraculously managed to sing and that when he finished and went to the dressing room, he could not speak again. On stage, he’s like a master magician - he weaves his spell over his fascinated audience and his charismatic stage presence leaves you mesmerised! I love Dimash. Know was until now one of his songs that I didn't like that much (even though he is a seductive eye-catcher in the white shirtless suit) ... ... until I heard this vocalised version. Absolutely magical! The jacket with the shimmering wings, the jungle scenery, the company, his voice ... He seems to be chanting. The emotions that are just coming over my little smartphone are completely knocking me off my feet 💥💥💥! It must be a life changing experience to hear it live. I had his concert ticket for Stuttgart, end of March, in my hands. Two weeks before the release it was postponed first and now completely cancelled 😭. Great reaction yet again Sabina ... really enjoying what you have to say! My favourite performance of Know / Ascolta is the second time he sang it at Moscow concert 2019 (2nd night). It's a blend of the two versions & he is totally mesmerising in that performance ... he was in a trance really with the Music flowing through his body & I was completely blown away ... to the stars & back! Even if you don't react to it it's worth watching. This is a fancam version as for some reason in the official release of the concert they dubbed the studio version over the top of it. Sabina, Love both songs similarly, except the last song he is even more mesmerizing, he uses his gifts with such precision/perfection...no lyrics... it just captures your soul in the moment, flooding you with feelings and emotion you don't even know you have or have locked them away. How is it even possible that his old songs and new still have the same effect on new hearers? I will tell you how, words directly from his father, said Dismash sings with every cell in his body to the point where his suits are sometimes drenched when he leaves the stage, he said, he and his mom are sometimes worried about him getting sick, because of how much he gives of himself to each song... I personally think for him it's like giving birth, each new song is a new baby that he delivers with the utmost care. That's why we all fall in Love with him! Again your analysis is Perfect!. 👌👍💞

The song was composed by Igor Krutoy several years ago for Lara Fabian as "vocalize" (no lyrics) !. Dimash usually sings it with lyrics in Russian language, here ARNAU CONCERT in Kiev (the last before COV19) he did some variation (coming back to "vocalize"). Dimash is a skilled composer and multiinstrumentalist and he can change any song he "covers" to make it his own. Whatever he sings is just beautiful !!! You have no idea how much fun you will have "discovering Dimash" !! There are new songs Igor Krutoy composed especially for Dimash (meaning nobody else is able to sing them - like OLYMPICO ), there are many fantastic songs "from Chinese projects" (like a duet with a famous Chinese anime !!) , there is "Across Endless Dimensions" part of the soundtrack of the film "Creators" composed by renowned Italian musician and film director, there are duets with renowned opera singers. Dimash performs live, usually on solo concerts. Video clips are extremely rare (he is too busy to record them). Compilations of songs on YOU TUBE are prepared by his fans. I am following Dimash career for the last 3 years and I look for more all the time !! There is a lot of "work and fun" in front of you !! Best regards from Poland!

Through luck or intent, you've done exactly the right thing - presenting both versions of 'Know' at once. I don't have a preference. They're both wonderful. But I think it's important for fans to consider both works at once, because it will enlighten them as to just how far afield he can go from one concert version of a song to another. The New Wave version is a love song with the lyrics to prove it. It is presented with fire and is true to Krutoy's intentions, I think. Arnau turns the paradigm upside down. The lyrics are gone. The song is no longer about love; the word you used, 'primal,' fits better. It's raw emotion. The liquid trills of his voice match the flowing water behind him. So much vocal flexibility! But this isn't like the note-warbling that has come to dominate pop music. It's much more ethnic in its derivation. DImash, for me, conjures the preliterate mercurial nomads who roamed the steppes long before civilization was invented. But he mixes in sounds from other genres, too - pop, R&B, opera. Dimash is as multicultural as a human can possibly be. Someone explain to me how one person - only 26 years old! - can master so many vocal techniques across such a vast range! He staggers me. An opera singer I follow - a remarkable singer in her own right, with awards filling her bookcase and prestigious positions in her resume - remarked that not only can Dimash sing in any genre, but he could win any contest in any genre, including opera. He's that advanced in his vocal mastery. I think she's right. He's a once-in-a-century singer.

Thank you very much for your description. I agree with you to 100 % and more. Proof that he can win in almost any style of singing is demonstrated by his success in a lot of competitions. And at the end of 2019 he won the Award of Best Classical Singer in Russia. This is analogous to American Grammy. In previous years the winner of this award was the world famous opera singer Anna Netrebko!

@@kalamkasbbb9187 I think the competitions are behind him now. He no longer needs to prove he should have an audience. The only place where Dimash doesn't have millions of fans is Antarctica. (If penguins had DVD players, he'd have millions there, too!)

This is one of my favorite songs he sings and THAT is hard to say. I like his musical version as well. He does an amazing job keeping an audience attracted to him and his music but if I am honest I have to say I prefer when he actually sings because for me it brings more emotions out. He also does a little kinda jazz thing in there as well as scatting. He mixing so much together that you never imagine goes together.

Another amazing reaction. The first version takes us on a journey of the musical world and the second version takes us on a journey to the core of our soul. Both versions are excellent but as you really said the second one is more intimate and extracts out more emotions and feelings from within us. I prefer the second version, you're right it's more intimate and it has unique minor scales and ad lib. This type of music won't sell much in the market because people just don't like something that they rarely hear and I don't blame them. The first version is grander and somehow feels more approachable in the market. They both great in their own way, but If I had to pick the second version is the best.

Thank you for this comment, I agree! The second version goes way deeper for me... And I think in pop culture it's about avoiding to go deep because many learn (including myself) to not feel or express their deepest emotions (in Western Culture). Pop is more about: Fast, fun, easy and superficial. I loved both versions, but the second one resonated much more with me, and took the song to a much deeper level.

It's a good thing Dimash couldn't give a hoot about market trends and mainstream music bc there's so many ppl who've been starved of good decent sounds for decades! Now we have his neoclassical crossovers to enjoy, crass pop culture with no soul will hopefully die a natural death🤗 as more inspired artists like Dimash take to the stage, that would be so cool!😎
