Име Сумак не повезло: 1. В то время не было интернета. 2. Для её голоса в 5 октав не нашлось достойного композитора. Как говорится рано родилась. Мне посчастливилось слышать её полный концерт на гастролях в Алма-ате очень давно, правда, по телевизору. Для Димаша все возможные звёзды сошлись: талант, невероятное трудолюбие, харизма, воспитанность, красота внешняя и внутренняя; композиторы с мировым именем в очереди, чтобы он спел их песни; за удовольствие для себя считают лучшие музыканты мира, паче чаяния с ним спеть; модельные дома шьют под него костюмы; флористы следят за его гастролями; дорогие следуют за ним по пятам; все остальные с нетерпением ждут новых шедевров, а в промежутках в сотый-тысячный раз вновь прослушивают ранее исполненное, сравнивают свои впечатления с вновь обретёнными адептами Димаша. Вероятно, всё можно объяснить, но как понимать, что чем больше слушаю Димаша, тем глубже понимаю каждую пропетую ноту, каждый жест руки, тела, почему он закрыл глаза или посмотрел куда-то, и что означает его взгляд. Мне, порой, кажется, что для каждой песни у Димаша есть своя ментальная капсула, и он погружается в транс этой песни; в это время он не видит публику, не ощущает пространство; только закончив пение, он медленно возвращается в явь. Димаш на самом деле такой единственный. ПС. Извините за многословие.

Have you checked out Daybreak? There are two versions, one tells his story and the fact that he was sick when he performed but noone realized it even though the doctor told him no high notes. The other version at Bastau with lyrics make most people breakdown, he presents a vivid story which is based on a true story.
