I built my first towers. After a while I moved them to surrounds and went with perlisten r7t's and an r5c up front. I'll be paying those off for a while. Worth every penny though

How does the Primare compare to an Anthem AVM90/MCA 525 GEN 2 setup? Would it be considered a significant upgrade or lateral move?

Sometimes it's better not to mention an "affordable" price of $32K for a minimal system. Most of us sneak hardware in the front door piece by piece. I'm getting the R series speakers in now, but hold down the pricing info, the wife might be within earshot...🤫🤫🤫🤣

Each Perlisten subwoofer are equal to 4 like for like 12" subwoofers, so 8 12" subwoofers in this demo room 😇lovely 6db gain from this amazingly robust and compact design 👍

Whenever my home theater system doesn’t seem to be immersive and real enough I just walk outside. I don’t know how reality does it without height speakers, and ground speakers, and subwoofers and DSP, but reality just seems more real than my system. WTF.

all sounds in reality are point source like 360 x360x360 ...Like CGI the more real they try to make it the more fake it looks... Atmos is a solution looking for a problem to solve..and that problem is mainly revenue

Too bad that Kaleidescape decided to kill their dvd ripper so they could profit from selling downloads instead.
