I have heard Audia Flight at my dealer. Great stuff on a par with Acoustic Arts, Pass Labs.

I have an Ercolina digital pipe bender that's eaten 4 very expensive circuit boards in 7 years, and goes off it's rails with soft start warnings and all of the buttons don't work. With that said, I believe Italians can build some funked up electronics like anyone else. The real clincher to that situation is the nearest tech is somewhere like Indiana and he gets a premium if he has to come to you so we had to learn to service the damn thing ourselves. Fancy looking on the outside, and really cool when it works but I can get serviceable hi-fi for a lot less than that.

please send Gene the FLS4 or FLS8 power amps for bench testing

I don’t know Gene! McIntosh and Denon have made some amazing stuff! And Boulder. But this stuff looks amazing g too. Can’t wait for the bench test. My audio room is almost finished and I am 100% sure I am going to buy a Perlicent 2.1 setup or maybe a Kef to replace my revel.

Yes I own Denon 110th PMA products and they are great. Boulder is insanely expensive and overbuilt even by my perspective. Perlisten and Kef can be a BIG upgrade from Revel.

What's the operating principle behind these? Are they somehow fundamentally different from others? Magnetic amplifiers or some such?

Next time, get the camera operator to adjust the camera’s shutter speed to sync to the gear’s display to keep it from flickering. ✌️

I honestly tried (I was the videographer/editor for this video). Due to the refresh rate of the front display, I would have to drop down to around 1/15th of a second to get it to not flicker, but the overall motion blur was just too high at that setting even with the slow movement. Going higher on the shutter speed didn’t make a difference at all unfortunately. (There were some pictures used in the video as well, with those not having the display flicker obviously). Really stinks but we were also limited with our time in each room, so we just had to get what we could get and move on.

Italians know how to sell well. Usually not most stellar products, but with their famous "Italian glamour style". I know well because I'm from Spain. Italians buy our olive oil, they bottle in exquisite containers and sold as "Made in Italy"..... 😇😁😁

Beautiful, high quality stuff, But for $17,000 it better be. I'm sure you could buy a sonic equal at a fraction of the cost from any number of mainstream suppliers. Gene, Don't fall off the rails with the "if it costs more, it sounds better" subjective media reviewing community please. Sal1950
