First-person body cam shows Ukrainian soldiers firing rifles from trenches of Bakhmut
THE Wolf Pack platoon, part of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of Ukraine Armed Forces, on Tuesday (June 13) released a video purportedly showing soldiers storming Russian trenches during a fierce battle near the town Klishchiivka near the eastern city of Bakhmut.
On June 7, Ukraine claimed that its forces made advances in various sections of the front line with Russia, near the fiercely contested city of Bakhmut.
“The east remains the epicenter of hostilities. In the direction of Bakhmut, our troops switched from defensive to offensive. Over the past day, we have advanced from 200 to 1,100 meters (around 650-3,600 ft) in various sections of the Bakhmut direction,” Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar said on Telegram.
Separately, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed in a statement that its forces repelled eight attempts by Ukrainian forces to break through defenses in the region, but that they did not achieve their goal.
A day earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu claimed that the Ukrainian military launched “long-promised” counteroffensives in various parts of the front line in the past three days, which he claimed, were repelled.

You're right, I've seen that too. The soldier almost shot his coleague, that was close. Those new recruits have been training in Nato countries so Nato instructors and commanders should revise their combat tactics before sending new infantry divisions to the battlefields.

@Ruusia_is_doomed Sorry to burst your bubble... if indeed actual "combat" footage it is in the 12 kms "security zone" behind which are 5 lines of defence . Ukrainian soldiers are dying en masse in these futile attacks and when they retreat they find that the Russians have "back mined" the tracks the Ukrainians cleared to advance

Hi and thank you for your service. Question, if you all had to clear bunkers/trenches - wouldn’t mortars typically be used? I watched some Iraq combat footage and seemingly, every time there was a bunker or trench, mortars were used to clear them with a spotter (either by air or by those on the ground in distance of the artillery).
