This is an excellent review. It’s so hard to find reviews of Soviet cars in the English language. I find the car culture of the USSR a fascinating & somewhat overlooked topic. Thank you for the channel, I have subscribed.
A hansom car..In the UK the new moskvich was never offered.When the 412 was discontinued we ended up with the Lads.
I remember my father was looking at cars in 1974. He tried the Citroens, Fords, Opel, Lada and a Moskvich. One dealer had Lada and Moskvich, we tested the Moskvich first, it was terrible, in a not very sharp turn it screeched the tires all the way through, it's a long time ago but I still remember the harsch ride. The Lada felt almost like a Mercedes compared.... Anyway he bought a Ford in the end.
You can still see it on the streets of Bulgaria. Saw one today 😅
