Go to Kimberley Street after 6pm, lots of streetfood that are famous are also around there
Ah Leng's CKT is good but try Tiger's CKT or the Char Koay teow at Carnavon Street. They are one of the best, Nooooo! Not Starbuck! Penang has one of the best coffee culture, you go for Starbucks? Walk in any high end, cozy cafe the are much better than any star bucks. Amercan urrrrgh! even the local coffee has more ummmmph than Star bucks

HAHAHAHA omg i wish I knew before we went! I didn't do much food/drink research before going to penang so I didn't know what I was getting into. we went to several other famous CKT but not sure if they are the ones you mentioned (let us know in the future vids if we did!) I didn't know penang was famous for coffee! we went to some traditional ones but that's it! I think a part of us were worried that we'd be disappointed with local coffee scene in penang because we were coming from melbourne (a city known for coffee!)

@@MarkandElly_eats I have migrated to Sweden, so we are also very into coffee, coffee I drink at home, I order by burk 0f 20 of 250g pack from Spain., which last me about 3 months. Try Penang Char Koay Kak (carrot cake cubes), and don't miss out Nonya cuisine. Of course the famous Nasi Kandar, if you haven't eaten Penang Nasi Kandar then you have not been to Penang. (Avoid big prawns and fish head, can be overprice in these Nasi Kandar restaurant. Have fun and a yum yum trip
