FIRST LOOK Spector USA Custom Shop Factory Tour

Музыка

Spector moved out of their old dingy Woodstock, NY workshop mid-COVID pandemic so no one got to see the glorious new USA Custom Shop Factory - UNTIL NOW! Tom and I took a quick day trip to get the deets on the new shop and pick some woods for new custom builds for our shop.
Check out our current Spector inventory here: ish.guitars/collections/spector
We will be visiting the Spector USA Custom Shop VERY often from here on out as Ish Guitars is only a few hours away in Syracuse, NY and custom builds are literally my favorite thing ever. If you are interested in a build, or just have any questions about the process, please reach out and I'd love to help!

Dude is way to comfortable. Touching EVERYTHING! Including instruments in final Assembly! Constantly talking over the shop manager. He must be a very patient man. Good on him. What an amazing factory. A++

He's an obnoxious, arrogant irritant. I would have kicked his scrawny ass out. Nice job insulting the old shop in the description calling it old & dingy. And nice job saying everyone is a hippie there so that's why he's wearing tye dye.

The tour may have been nice if you had let the representative guide the tour. You did most of the talking. I wish this had been more about Spector and less about you sharing what you learned somewhere else about how someone else does things.

Bingo bango bongo. This was hard to watch and listen to at times and I could tell the new owner was starting to get a bit annoyed.

Very well said Jason! I's sure enjoy watching a video of a tour of this shop without this expert trying to impress everyone with his knowledge about EVERYTHING...Right? Right? Right? Maybe if you said "Right?" a few more times you'd sound so much smarter? I'd say thank you for the tour, please teach me everything about your amazing bass guitars, and then shut the hell up and let them show you how they make their art. Love my Spector, hate this video. But not because of anything Spector did. Nobody gives a damn about what you built when you were a teenager. Or any other time in your life.

Yeah, this guy‘s channel, the one in the tie-dye shirt in the video, was F’ing annoying. It’s like some teenager hyped up on caffeine and too much candy. You can just watch peoples body language and the shop manager kept crossing his arms as a show of discomfort.

Just bought the Spector NS Dimension 5 and am enamered with it's beauty and attention to every detail especially how all the carves are done and the quality in everything including hardware choice. Obviously mine was Crafted in Korea, but the direction was from Spector in America. So awesome to see what the American factory does to direct the production of these basses!

Hi guys, What a fantastic tour . Beautiful facility. I am sure that Stewart Spector is very happy that the legacy of one of the finest basses ever produced will carry on the great tradition of quality & workmanship that is synonymous

I'm so glad this video exists! I was so curious about Spector's workshop. It's really cool to put faces on the making of the basses. Literally everything is interesting in this tour! I only own a korean Legend but it's already such a beast! I've also tried a bunch of other models and to me, the brand have mastered the bass in every aspects! I only hope I'll get a USA made bass someday. Thanks to you guys, and let me call the shop manager "Willy Wonka" because I felt like Charlie in the chocolate factory for 49:48 minutes!

Great video. Love that it's a New York State product and a great one at that. The new shop looks awesome. Maybe you can show progress vids of some of the builds. One of these days we'll be building one for me ! Any word on a USA bolt on with a full contoured body like the eurobolts?
