Excellent video! I love the details you provided. I just upgraded from a 2017 Mazda CX-5 GT to a 2020 CX-5 GT and it is like night and day. Loved my 2017 but the drive and feel of the 2020 on the road is outstanding. Such a pleasure to drive. I'm in love with my new Mazda.

CallMeDD I appreciate your kind words. I don’t expect a major refresh for 2021. They made some slight improvements to NVH on the 2020, and I haven’t seen any mention of product launches in the near future. Thanks for watching.

Just found your channel and its soooo helpful when it comes to all things mazda which is definitely what i want my next upgrade to go towards. Would you by any chance know when their safety cameras and infotainment system will be getting an upgrade as i found that they're the two areas that are lacking compared to its competitors. The infotainment will be updated to 7th Gen in 2021, and the cameras have a better resolution on that screen also.

Just bought one today mazda CX5 GT AWD. It is nice and beautiful seems worth it with the price they ask.

Nice video! Just subscribed to your channel. I have a 2020 CX-5 GTR and it's amazing how quiet it is. One thing I haven't seen in any review yet, is the underside of this vehicle, which is sealed with a LOT of sound deadening material. This even includes the wheel wells! If you get the chance, please show this area in a video.

Nice review. I’m shopping for a CX-5 for my wife. I know that I want the the Grand Touring but can’t decide between turbo and non turbo. Does the non turbo feel underpowered on hills or highways? Is the real world fuel economy very different between the two? Thanks.

Thanks for the walkthrough👍🏾. I'm torn with the color options between the Red, White and this Gray one in your video. Do you know if these colors carried over from previous years or are they 2020 exclusive? The white looks good in the show rooms but the ones I've seen on the road look rather flat, so I'm wondering if the 2020 white is different?

They have all been the same since 2017. The Snowflake White Pearl is a little different. The Pearl doesn’t shine as much as the metallic in Machine Gray and Soul Red.

Anyone have any further details as to when we'll be seeing the 2021s at dealers? I'm seriously considering a 2021 Signature. I know that they're supposed to be arriving this month but I've seen things saying the Signatures won't be coming until later in the year.

There are some coming into the Southeast. I’m not sure if they are arriving at port on Oct 2, or Oct 10. They will arrive at dealerships the second half of October.

I love your video! So detailed. Does the 2020 CX 5 grand touring mirrors fold? And does it have heads up display as well?

Yes, the heated steering wheel comes with the GT Premium package and up. The Emergency Breaking is on by default. You can adjust the sensitivity of the detection or turn off, but it is on automatically.

Yes, you have to add the GT Premium package to have cooled seats up front and heated rear seats

I don’t need AWD and I really feel the standard 2.5 L has plenty of power. I love the seats and the 360 cam on Signature, but wouldn’t personally pay $4-5k more for the Signature.

Bev V The power lumbar switch is located directly about the power seat controls on the outboard side of each front seat.

Just bought one tonight lol 😂 The dealer offered Zero down on my horrible credit with first month payment of $430 for everything including free maintenance for the car and tire/rim coverage!!! I love how quiet it is and honestly they even paid off my 2013 Ford Escape and the car is very comfortable and high quality in comparison to the 2020 RAV4 and 2019 CR-V they took good care of us where as Honda and Toyota wanted 3500 down... so best time to buy before April 15th or end of each month!

Market is so bad I had BMW call me and offered $400 zero down lease when last time was $680 and $2000 down if I go back... Acura offered RDX 2020 for $350 zero down lease. Everything is going down because of the virus 🦠

What state is this in??? I want to trade in my 09 Mazda 6 for a CX-5 GT but I don’t wanna be laughed out the door. My credit is fair. I’d get the loyalty discount and healthcare workers discount but I’m still scared.

Is grand touring AWD? Does it offer safety sensors?

Grand Touring is available in AWD, and all safety is standard. The proximity sensors are only on Signature.

Billy Comerford we don’t have any snow for testing in South Alabama, but the all-wheel drive models are popular the more northern you go. I’m sure they perform well as Mazda designs their vehicle for all conditions.

'I'm from Montreal Canada and we have snow more than months a year. I have a 2018 GT AWD, and performs well. I moved to San Diego California back in February 2020, and I will get the 2020 GT Reserve.

Right now there is $1500 Rebate on 2020 in my market, so you could purchase this vehicle for around $30,000 after est. $3500 savings.
