Lastly, just because AC/DC was my FAVORITE band as a kid and I kinda bashed them a lil 🤣 remember the band JET? are you gonna be my girl? They're only famous because of AC/DC almost their entire first album was purchased by the bandmembers from AC/DC at an estate sale with (I think Angus telling them they were failed songs so good luck) (pretty sure he meant selling the transcripts lol) so... ACDC got a band of hack frauds famous for playing their failed songs. 🤣 also I believe they did something similar to Iggy Pop lol but that's why their follow up album was shit and they faded into obscurity. Just a random bit of rock history for you 🙃 lol it was in an acdc issue of guitar world magazine, still have it lol but it seems pretty scrubbed off the internet, I wanted to fact check myself but after finding 5 other people who remember reading the issue I feel pretty confident

The guitarist you called "Skip", his name is Angus Young and he was actually doing a tribute to Chuck Berry called the "duck walk". Angus looked up to Chuck Berry, the real king of rock and roll aka The father of rock and roll. One of the founders of rock music in the 50's. He was a black man as well. Sadly he passed away 3 years ago. R.I.P Chuck Berry. Here's a link for a good example of Chuck Berry doing the "Duck Walk" while performing Johnny B Goode kzread.info/dash/bejne/noV6ks2pksjXkdo.html

The guy you called 'Skip' is Angus Young. He and his brother Malcolm started the band when they were still at school in Australia in the early 70's. Angus was 15 when they started playing gigs, sometimes he'd have to play a gig straight after school without a change of clothes so he'd play in his school uniform. The uniform became a gimmick, so his sister made him different versions of a school uniform to wear on stage. He still wears a version of the school uniform today, he's currently 65.

You done fell into another rabbit hole. AC/DC originated in Australia in the early 1970s, and broke out onto US airplay and concert tours in the late 1970s. I saw them live for the first time at Day On The Green in the Oakland Coliseum in the summer of 1978. Almost no one in the audience even knew who they were (including me.) After the concert, I went straight to a record store to pick up their most recent album (at the time,) "Highway To Hell." That was the last album where Bon Scott was the lead singer (a legendary performer.) He died in 1980, and was replaced by Brian Johnson (who's the lead singer in the Thunderstruck video, and is also phenomenal, but differently than Bon Scott.) You should react to a video with Bon Scott as the lead singer, such as "Sin City."

I just want to tell you I knew these guys back in the 70's - yep - used to hang out in a club called Chequers where the guys got their first real break - that people call my old mates Rock Icons - will never see them as more than my friends who dreamed big and their dreams came true. I was chuffed when Bon replaced Dave Evans - I have brilliant memories - my grandkids cannot get over the fact that I genuinely know the lads. Sydney back in the 70's was a powerhouse of the music industry which carried through till the 2000's - glad you like them,so proud of these guys ❤
