FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF SINGAPORE (I COULD LIVE HERE) 🇸🇬

It is my first time here in Singapore so I give you my first impressions of Singapore. I am so impressed by how clean, modern, efficient and beautiful this country is. I could definitely move to Singapore! We visit Marina Bay Sands, East Coast Hawker Stall, Gardens By The Bay, Lau Pa Sat, and Haji Lane. This vlog is 24 hours in Singapore so is a good travel guide if you're only here for a short trip.

To be honest, I have lived in London for over a year in Canary Wharf with my partner and there are many things in Singapore which are cheaper than London. Transportation is very expensive in the UK and food wise, you can get a decent meal for like SGD 3 which is like less than GBP 2. I don't think you can find in the UK. Also for coffee, try the local Kopi (coffee in local Hokkien dialect) and costs like SGD 1ish.

Lau Pasat is a Chinese Hokkien Dialect literally meaning 'Old Market'. It used to be a 'wet' market selling meat, fish and vegetables, and located right in the middle of Singapore's financial district. Hence, it is probably more lucrative to turn it into a food court.

Glad u had a good time celebrating your 25th bday. I assume your female friend is somewhat familiar with the local spots in SG? I see that u spent most of yr time in the Central Business District. Perhaps next time u come, try to avoid the more expensive downtown spots where prices are understably more "expensive". Just take a few MRT stations down the line (East?) where u will find more variety and less-expensive food and drinks. Overall - glad u came.

U depress? Im not...im still kicking after 60 yrs..which country in the world where u go where you are free from the care of daily lives tell me? "Problems" will exist in any country n as long as we are alive. Money doesn't bring true happiness as I just had a chat with a close relatives who owns a few properties ,who didn't work much all his life but unfortunately he's still not happy n if I can be honest about it, I believe im a much happier person than him even though i possess only a very tiny small fraction of his status n lives in a HDB with no other property in my name. Hope you get over your depression soon.

Artificial ? but the money I earn n hold in my hands is not Artificial...the happiness I possess is not Artificial...I think Artificial should be those who hides behind a big car, big house, nice clothes, lots of money n maybe a nice position in a big corporation n pretend to be happy when they are not but deep down feel empty. Happiness should be from within you n not rely on the exterior to determine your happiness...maybe thought they can be happy by buying a big car or a nice expensive watch but after a while, they are back to feeling down again

@@joamiraclesound9387 well u can live in a million dollar home or country n can still feel unhappy. My happiness isnt determined by what house or country i live in. Well if monaco or some unartificial country makes u happy then good luck to u too.

Malaysia is nice but after being robbed in broad daylight in KL 50 years ago I vowed never to set foot again. Until today the problem seems never solved.
