Welcome to Morocco! Have a nice stay in Rabat, perhaps you might be interested to visit Tangier (where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean) as well it's only 2 hours by train TGV. In another note most westerners wrongly think that Morocco is a French speaking country. Actually, according to official statistics only 32% can speak proper French. Most of Moroccans speak Arabic (Moroccan Darija) and Tamazight (mainly 3 dialectes Tarifit, Tassousit and Tachlhit). The 2 official languages of the Kingdom are Arabic and Tamazight according to the Moroccan constitution.

Oh wow that’s so cool! Unfortunately I don’t speak Arabic so I was best communicating in French rather then English in Rabat. Thanks hopefully will visit tanger next time we loved Morocco!

We need to always restore the walls, they get delabrated otherwise, we are the same culture that built those over 10 centuries ago, for us it's not just historic monuments.

I wish you an enjoyable journey in that incredible kingdom called Morocco. To your information guys ten years from now English will take root in Morocco too,the new elected government is well aware nowadays of the importance of English language for the country and its economy.

Welcome in Morocco, I hope that you will enjoy your time here with us, I saw that you tried to pronounce cheers in Arabic but you couldn't, it was funny, we say : Bessaha ou Raha witch means literally, with health and confort. Keep smiling and enjoying life. I'll give you a master key when you are dealing with Moroccan people, if they fill that you really respect them they will serve you and behave with you like a membre of their families.

First of all welcome to Morocco! hope you're enjoying your vacation here, you can speak english, most of people can undersatand it, frensh isn't necessary. If you visit chefchaoun, try to do a tour in Tetouan and Tangier. If you have more time, get the TGV train ALBORAQ, from Tangier to Casablanca, you'll like the largest city in Morocco, then go to Marrakesh... Lots of cities deserve to be explored but it depends on how many days you planned to stay in Morocco. Finally, excuse my english, if i made some mistakes.

4:30 Yeah you definitely didn’t understand anything, how did you guys conclude that this had anything to do with culture or being Muslim? Every time tourists witness something bad or a public freak out in other countries (Muslim countries) they take it so seriously and for some reason connect it to our cultures or religion which is just sad. We are no different than you, we also deal with crazy Karen’s, robbers, street fights, etc. It has nothing to do with who we are

It's rude to accuse others because they are different from you when you don't speak the language we put up with that for the past 20 years. I will say Flatbush, a tee-shirt he wears in his newest video has tons of abuse done on females and is well hidden unless you know personally. I was going to share and watch this channel but will pass. Morocco is beautiful, those of us with a DNA from there known all too well. Joel I hope you learn this lesson from this. Todah
