​@@flynowire6588 That's Razbam and ED.... I couldn't care less, I just won't buy anything Razbam going forward. The rest of ED is fine. Did you all forget how Microprose abandoned Falcon 4.0? Or are people gonna lose their shit just because I brought it up? 🤣 I was playing the game when this happened. Fortunately, back then people gave a shit and the community jumped on the leaked source code and made the game a million times better than anything Microprose could have done with it. Microprose was owned by Hasbro and Hasbro, in the 90's being mostly a board game manufacturer, saw no value in it so they abandoned it. Companies don't just "leak source codes". Those are VERY well guarded. Hasbro basically gave it to us. All this to say, whatever this project is, it's gonna be financed and propped up to sell the intellectual rights once it peaks. Some other publisher will get their hands on it and most likely fuck it up. Just like EA did with the BF series. Microprose along with HasBLOW (that's what we called them back then lol) are corporations with corporate greed driving them, not the desire to make an outstanding flight sim.

It’s not like Microprose builds a development schedule around PR issues with other games. It’s just a matter of happenstance. It would be a big mistake to plan a release of a game that might to just capitalize on an event that has PR implications for another developer. A game should be released when it’s ready and on a planned development timeline. I’m sure Razbam and ED will work out their internal issues that got leaked and have become a problem because of community speculation. A lot of the community chatter isn’t based on complete facts. When it comes to issues there are two sides to every story and the truth is usually in between. Mommy and daddy are just having an argument kids. It’ll be fine. 😊

@@SimUKReviews Razbam are reported to have used Eagle Dynamics Intellectual Property without permission to do so. It affects the military version of DCS which is not available to the public. Razbam have reported that ED have stopped payments to them and they have said they are not working on their modules until a resolution has been agreed. In essence this spat only affects the F15e as the other modules are not in early access and therefore if anything breaks with updates, ED can fix these themselves. Razbam went public but failed to give the right reasons for the non payment (which apparently is true) and by doing so, they have deliberately created a rift in the community based on false information. If you go to EDs official forum, all that is known at present is there. Btw. the developer of this sim lives in my hometown up in the Teesside area of the UK 🙂

I bought this sim in 2016 on Steam when it was on early access. Never understood why it wasn’t a hit. But thanks to Microprose it’s revided. Having played nearly all military flight simulator games for the last 36 years! This is a marble. Without any exaggeration, this is imo the best military flight sim after DCS. Very very smooth, it evens runs smooth on mediocre hardware, and in VR? Really awesome. The smoothness of the flightmodel and game engine is how every flight simulator should play. Devs of MSFS, are we listening ?

You forgot about falcon BMS. Once 4.38 comes out, the graphics hore gap will be much smaller

Is the Harrier in CAP2 the AV8B II+? I love flying he AV8BNA in DCS, noticed that there isn't the 'witches hat' on your HUD despite being in VSTOL mode, I imagine that would make vertical landing a tad tricky

Noticed they released a update, not bad, after the game seemed abandoned with what, one update per year or so? Will keep my eyes on it when it fully releases, the promises of other planes to fly and even tanks to control is a pretty cool addition.

Dynamic campaign IS I think in this game already, but Intuitive it is not.....working on a review.

Using beam eye? If so what is your camera resolution?

I am. I am using an old logitech c270 and it defaults to 720p....despite my best efforts.

You are flying with the nozzles pointing forward !!! Set them to 90° for landing …

They were at 90 degrees 😆 Personally I think it was too heavy....no way to ditch fuel, water or weapons.

They were at 98 degrees.... Also nozzles should be 82/83

Ahhh! 98 is straight down though! Not forwards! 😆 As mentioned it feels overweight....so to stop myself from swimming I had to adjust the angle more! 😃 Have you got the game? I recommend you try it and let me know what you think then...see if you agree it feels overweight or not?

@@SimUKReviews It may not be modelled in the game correctly. The fuselage of the aircraft is at an angle. 82/83 degrees is downwards. 90-98 is backwards for stopping. Have a read of chucks guide to the av8b, great info on the harrier especially in DCS.

MicroProse have just picked it up, there is a lot of 'coming soon' stuff added.....right now though it is a concerning empty space and one to watch.....

I’m not sure this game is where it needs to me to pull me to it. I’m looking forward to seeing what Microprose has up their sleeve with the next version of Falcon. With their history with that title I have high hopes and expectations. This one misses the mark for me. It looks dated and it’s brand new. Why? Take a look at the flag on the ship. It’s a static representation of one blowing in the wind. There isn’t enough in the video to see how deep the cockpit/systems play and that might be amazing or not. I’ll keep my eye on it for curiosity sake. For right now? Nah. I’ll stick with DCS and Falcon BMS. I am so looking forward to seeing more of the new Falcon from Microprose. I hope they realize where the expectations are for Falcon series lovers in 2024 and beyond.

looks raw like some sort of pre alpha, I don't think the devs will fix all the problems with HUD, MFDs and physics. Man you hit the deck at 16 kph! And if you want to improve, you better learn theory of case 1 approach for LHA. I just can't play the game where you can vector your engines above 82 degrees for landing and flaps above 62, this is hella inaccurate. And that hud is misleading too, almost every symbol is inaccurate, why does this flight path marker looks at the ground while you are going up?
