oh my god i was also born on september 5th as your sister and i'm watching your video randomly to discover the life in montreal since i'm plannig to apply for a McGill phd program
Hi Natalia, thanks for your video! I'll be going to McGill this fall and I really like your room! What is your residence called and is it a single room with your roommate walking through it to get to their room (what it's called on the website)? Thanks!
which accomodation did you get??
I just accepted the offer from McGill for Fall 2023 and this was so great to watch! Can you tell me the part time jobs scene for students in Montreal because I need to work for my expenses.

a lot of people have a part time job on the side, and it's relatively easy to get one if you speak french and english. I would suggest only taking 4 classes the first semester (if you can) just to get a feel of how well you can balance both

@@romymax7119 are there any jobs available for those who either don’t know French fluently or are learning.
What res is that?
How much do you pay for the dorm please
I’m thinking of pursuing a master’s degree at McGill Uni and I can only do that if I get accepted in the McCall MacBain scholarship 🤞hopefully I get in (I’m Moroccan)… any advice!
hey! What rez did you live in? How was your experience did you like it?
Hi I just got in to McGill and it’s one of my top choices!!! If you see this I have a few questions: - how are class sizes? I’ve heard a lot of people say the classes can be huge - do you feel like you have access to personalized help and guidance at the university if you need it? - what residence is this?? Your dorm looks so nice!!!! How is the housing in general - do you know anybody with a bad dorm/living situation? Thx 🤗🤗🤗🤗

hello I'm also a student there and to answer your questions: classes vary in size i.e if it's a language class it'll be small but most of the time it's bigger (usually around 200 students but it can go up to 600 for big classes like prereqs that a lot of students have to take). But dw you'll always have office hours and TA's to ask your questions outside the classroom. And the rez is campus 1! hope this helps :)
what residence did you move into? it looks so nice!

I was feeling the same way! I kind of just walk around the city until I find cool coffee shops and stuff to do haha. Also highly recommend using the metro to get places! 😊
Hi if I may ask which residence did you get in ?

im still not sure what frosh is tbh 😅 im hoping its not just a massive alcohol-fueled party, i genuinely would just like to meet people to be more at ease before the year begins… what is it like?
@romymax7119

the alcohol culture is def present during frosh and I would say it all depends on how lucky you get with your frosh group bc they're made randomly. you can be lucky and end up with ppl you connect with or the opposite but don't worry they are plenty of other ways to make friends!
😊pls tel me about scholarship
Where did you move from and how do you afford it, I’m curious
Hello! I am about to enter McGill university and it would be extremely helpful to chat with you somewhere a little bit. If you have a couple of minutes for me, I would be sosooso grateful 🤍 (btw I am already grateful that you’ve read this till the end) Nice day!
