@taylorray 17:26 is it possible its leaking on the oil feed, and dripping down to the return?

Just double checked because of this comment. You were right. I had checked before and no leaks at the fitting, and the fitting was tight. It turns out it's leaking where the 90 degree portion of the fitting crimps onto the braided hose. so it wasn't getting the top of the turbo wet. Ordered a new line! Hopefully my drain is sealed this time so I don't have to take it off again. lol Thank you! This is why I love youtube. In the moment, it's easy to cloud your judgment and be certain of the problem origin without taking a step back to be sure.

Man this has been my favorite series on KZread. Two reasons. First you seem to be a genuinely nice guy. That’s good to see. Second it’s the absolute best way I know to build a truck. My dream truck. And I’m driving a brand new Ram dually. All the best parts of a Ram plus all the best parts of a Ford. It’s perfect. Is it the most drastic build? No. Is it the most expensive? No. But it’s practical and every thing you’ve built seems to be done very carefully and your fab work is above and beyond. I can’t say enough nice things about it. Very nice job man. By the way Ray is my last name and I named my oldest daughter Taylor. Lol not after you she’s almost 20 years old. Anyway congrats on the truck I hope you enjoy it for a long time.

Thanks man! This was a really nice comment to read! It on paper for me is the perfect truck being as I work on everything myself. Simple, easy to work on cummins engine, nice, modern Ford chassis without it being overcomplicated. And a stout ford trans that is also insanely cheap to replace because the engines go bad far before the trans in these. My only negative is that in my experience, swapped vehicles are never as reliable as stock vehicles. I'm not an engineer testing longevity of how I clamped this, and where this contacts that. So I am in a sense concerned about that, but that's why I've really taken my time and double checked everything I can think of to minimize the bugs that need to be worked out.

Unless you plan on lowering it, then yeah the convex look would suit it better in that case. Great job man. On the radiator support plastic you should sand the powerstroke emblem off and get a Cummins sticker.

Nice! Fummins is a good name, if I did a cummins swap I would call it...cumferd.

Like others have said maybe the turbo has a crack or is warped you should look into that just in case it causes other issues. And love the build thats actually my dream truck build aswell just with an f 450🤘

Could there be a crack in the turbo drain somewhere? Seems odd that you've tried so many times to seal it with no avail.

Hard to tell in video but it looked like the oil was leaking above the turbo drain tube. Probably need to yank the turbo and verify the flange is flat and isn't cracked or has a pin hole somewhere. Good build Taylor and good luck
