Dodge and Plymouth have dominated the muscle car market and drag strips since 1962 beginning with the Max Wedge cars, Gen II Hemis, Vipers, SRT/10's TRX's and eventually the TrackHawks, Hellcats and Demons.

Tim is a rare breed the automotive executive ranks. A CEO who knows as much about the mechanics of a modern automobile as he does public speaking, spreadsheets, etc.

That is what I liked about it. His giggling every time he pressed the throttle. I'll never own one, but the fact that it exists is enough for me. Shame that some of these will be garage queens and never allowed to stretch their legs or even see a 1/4 mile track.

What makes this great is we've seen all the goodies Jay has and has driven and yet he's having a true blast driving this beast.

You can't beat the instant throttle response and torque of a belt driven supercharger. I love mine.

I love how Jay’s casually flooring a 1025 HP car on the street with no seatbelt on. That’s a true hot rod guy right there! 🤙🏻

I remember buying my 93’ Mustang Foxbody 5.0 and for the time it was a Beast with under 300hp, my first V8 speed demon! Now they speak of 1000+ Horsepower just blows my mind! I think of my 5.0 blasting out the hole in 1st gear pinning you to your seat, screaming through 2nd gear smoke everywhere with taste of burnt rubber on your tongue, and still screeching when you hit 3rd gear at 100+ mph! God, those where the BEST of times! I can ONLY imagine what a dream it is to get to drive this ICONIC “DEMON”! Way to go Mopar, you consistently blow our minds with the innovation!#Dodge#Demon#😈

It's been a long time since a car blew me away, I'm so happy it's one of ours. This is a car to be proud of.

Absolutely mind boggling that this is a production car. I've never been a huge Dodge fan, but they have 100% of my respect after this achievement. They didn't just improve a few things, they innovated the hell out of this thing. Unreal.

Too bad Dodge Stellantis screwed the Brotherhood of Muscle really bad giving the greedy dealership owners the first shot of allocations for this car. I've never seen Jay so full of joy and happiness, with a genuine smile while driving any car. Till i saw him drive this car.

This is the happiest I’ve seen Jay in a long time, I hope he buys one of these cars.

It seems like Jay has been really enjoying a lot of cars in the past few videos. Good to see him laughing gleefully. And the CEO clearly loves this project too.

That's one car that I wish I could afford to buy as I'm a 60 year old man and on a very low fixed I. Jay Leno I love your beautiful car collection it is truly an amazing collection.

Me too... As far as limited income, that is. I'm 82 years old. The closest thing to a muscle car I had was a 1967 Oldsmobile 442 racing green convertible with white leather upholstery. Bought it in New Hampshire, drove it to San Jose and sold it at a considerable profit. Should never have sold it. It's be priceless now.

Incredible. When I was a ten year old sitting next to my Dad in his ‘69 Barracuda with a 340 cubic inch a ‘Cuda passed us. I asked my Dad what it was, he said “a Hemi”. Now Chrysler put out this.

I just love to hear a CEO like Tim be passionate about the race car. He really knows what he's talking about. He's driven that car A LOT.

are you stupid??? he's letting stelantis KILL Dodge. no more ICE for Dodge. they are replacing them with batteries.

Definitely a good final way to go out for the challenger always liked how instead of going lighter and sportier dodge just says add more power and make it stronger to handle it. Doesn't get much more muscle than that.

Probably one of the only times you'll see one driving on the roads!! Love Jay!🫡

While everybody else is doing track specials, Corevettes going to mid engine, Porsches getiing crazy suspensions, you got Dodge just doing their thing and making everyone smile. The Challenger and Charger are literal proof that being fun matters more to people than stuffing every available piece of tech into a car and turning into a screen on wheels. I swear I'm going to own some kind of Mopar before I kick the bucket. Other cars might be faster, corner better, or get amazing MPG, but none of them still have their heart, and Dodge still has theirs in spades :|

I haven't seen Jay that excited by a new car in a long time. Great video Jay. Great car too

This guy is the complete opposite of the Bud Light VP. He knows his business, customer base, and what brings business.

You can tell this guy is extremely hands on with his products. You don't see that from CEOs these days
