First days of fall! Falling trees, skidding logs, making lumber!

The last days of summer have turned into the first days of fall and the leaves have definitely turned color! But cooler temperatures in the morning still turn into warm summer like temperatures in the afternoon as summer fights to keep it grip on the current season, these days are numbered though as the first cold snap is just days away! Time to expedite my current project of making lumber with the Woodland Mills HM 122 to cover the interior of the cabin before the cold season sets in! With the sun peeking out from time to time, it was time to see what kind of charge I could get from the Bluetti solar panel to charge the AC200P solar generator, an excellent addition to the tiny cabin!

You're doing a great job! Everything is coming together well for you. The cabin will be a lot nicer with the insulation and milled wood coverings. Making it more like home. Bluetti will provide the power for lights and other items you couldn't use before. Love watching your videos and the progress you achieve. Looking forward to more.

Thanks Mike! I think it will be a great season this winter with the upgrade to the cabin and the addition of an electrical power source. My big thing with the Bluetti is I will be able to have an electric light instead of the old Coleman white gas light burning away in the cabin, in addition to being able to run some electronics at the cabin and get some editing work done in my down time. I will also be trying to listen a HAM radio in the cabin during the evenings, I will have to see how that turns out. As long as I have to power source, I think I should be able to make it work. Thanks for tuning in and commenting!

Thanks Blake! Yes, the grass kind of surprised me a bit. I was not sure if it would take off as it did, I figured it may take a few tries at seeding. It looks great and it has knocked the bugs down compared to last summer. Thanks for tuning in and commenting!

So much you have accomplished out at your property! Summer went SO quickly, but I admit I will be happy to see the bugs and bees go dormant. Fall weather is the best, and I am really looking forward to your winter cabin & tent camping content. I’ve never seen hot tenting so that should be fun. Are you going to make some fried green tomatoes out there from the garden? Thanks for the video!

Thank you Lisa! Yes, just a few more projects to get finished and then the cabin will be ready for the cold season. I still have plenty of wood for this winter and with the newly insulated walls it should be more comfortable. Add to that the winter hot tenting adventures should make for a great season. Fried green tomatoes are delicious and I should fry some up while I am harvesting the garden, great idea! Thanks for tuning in and commenting!

Hello my wife and I build band saws for a living. I know what your doing wrong from your videos. On the blade that does the cutting there should be blade rollers they are adjustable, when you get your log ready to cut you should move the blade rollers in close to the side of the log to shorting the distance the blade has to wonder in the wood.bring those blade roller in from left and in from the right

Thanks Darren! That makes sense now that you mention it. I will have to look into it a bit deeper when I am out there next, make any adjustments and test it out. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it!
