Catch and release cobia in the Chesapeake bay on our new tidewater 22 adventure. While standing on the bow sight casting this afternoon 1 hour in of fishing we started to see several schools of rays near the cargo ships that were anchored on the bay, this cobia trailed 10 yards behind a group of rays. Threw as seen in the video a 2oz pink bucktail 5-10 yards past the cobias direction of travel, with one big jig of the bucktail we were hooked up. Cobia was very aggressive and not afraid to eat. Headed to the beach for the rest of the evening after one catch and release, hopefully can find a few when the season officially starts.
