If this is going to be an indoor cat, hopefully it will be the last bath it will need. I always cringe when people say "FIRST bath", as if they are actually planning to subject their cat to this on a regular basis.

Even indoor cats can be bathed regularly. They don’t enjoy it. But a shampood cat smells better. And apart from the annoyance it doesn’t harm them. People are too influenced by the fact that cats fuss about baths.

@@coleullman5759 Indoor cats smell good without baths. That is one of the nice things about cats, they always smell nice. An unwashed cat will still smell much better than a dog who has just had a bath. Its because their saliva contains enzymes that produce a natural antibacterial cleansing agent. A healthy indoor cat really DOESN"t need a bath unless they get something on their fur they cannot get off themselves.

its just to get them used to the idea in case there are any accidents, my cat sometimes needs a bath for when he makes a mess in the litterbox.

Yes, they can bathe ,that's an old wives tale,cats need baths,they roll in shitty cat boxes then he's rolling on beds,counter tops,give em baths...

KEEP THAT LIT'L SMOKI.. USED TO H2O AN BEING CLEAN.. MAYBE JUST START WITH DRIP ON PAWS.. AN MASSAGE WITH SOAP... AN THEN DO LEGS. .SHE WILL LIKE PLAY.N..IN IT

When the vid 1st began, I thought I saw flea dirt in the sink, but I doubt if it was, because flea dirt is excreted blood, and it turns the water red. The water was clear the whole time; not even a tinge of brown. So, I don't think the kitten even needed a bath. And, although it cried, the kitten didn't struggle very much, and was much calmer than my cat would have been.
