Given that the water stayed clear, apart from the soap, did the kitten really need the bath in the first place?

Hi cat lady here, the bath should be at below cats temperature of at least 34degree Celcius or lower use a cloth to soak him and don't take to long it can frustrate him . Never put water in the ears and eyes use a cotton wool ball and dry ears very well . Towel dry if it's cold put a hair dryer on low heat to completely dry off kitty . Then use a human tooth comb to get the fleas and eggs of him. Then give him a treat to eat . I done this hundreds of times in my work. Its clear to see that he is enjoying the fussing, especially the warm air from the blow dryer, it makes him feel comfortable, I also see he has a cropped tail ,I wonder if thats the way he was born?

I don't think cats particularly like hair dryers, the noise is too much. It's fine to let them air dry in a warm place or via a gentle massage with a towel. This lovely kitten looks really scared. Thank you for looking after him. But keep checking on his behaviour at all times to check if he's scared or it's getting too much.

No need to keep wetting the cute kitten with plain water because it doesn't kill the fleas. Next time please put soap around its neck before bathing it to prevent those nasty fleas from going up to the kitten 's head and ears. Thank you so much for taking care of him.
