First Bath For Rescue Kitten | Cat Ringworm Medicated Bath | Lucky Pawison

We adopted a sick baby kitten, 35 days old, Twix. Cause the original owner didn't treat kittens properly. Her little brother was already dead. We use the UV light to check the ringworm. It's all over her body. Not only hair loss but also got crusty skin. The infection is pretty bad. It is the first night for Twix in the new home. Even this is a new environment for her. She was not scared at all. She starts licking my finger and purring. It seems she likes her new bed and home. Twix will need a medicated bath several times. But let's give her several days to adjust herself to the new home. I don't want to scare her and give her too much pressure immediately. Cause ringworm is infectious. So she needs to be isolated. When you recover, you will meet the whole family. She is so tired. It's been a long day. Have a good sleep. Don't worry nobody can hurt you anymore. We all love you. You will have a perfect life.

Man, i miss my kitten. She just passed away last week due to injuries. I also rescued her. I really thought she would survive but after 24 hours, she crossed the rainbow bridge. Stay healthy, Twix!

Aww wee pet. It breaks our hearts seeing her so sick with the awful ringworm, but we're also so happy that she has found her forever home with you, Belly, Ore, Reo, Crispy and Cream! I'm sure that once she's able to mix with them she'll feel a hundred times happier! Merry Christmas to you all and we hope you have a wonderful New Year!

Oh she is absolutely *PRECIOUS*
Such a cutie! I also foster little tinies and ringworm is the worst! I’ve found that using a cotton ball with the medicated dip to get the kitties face helps tremendously. It helps get more of the meds on the sores. I turned my office into a “ringworm ward” and put in tile to make it easier to clean. When I first started fostering, I would get ringworm at least twice each “kitten season” cause I thought vacuuming obsessively would get the spores out of the carpet and furniture. I finally ripped out the carpet and put down hardwood. The ringworm struggle is REAL, and thank goodness for people like you and other fosters that will put up with their houses, furniture, clothes, and bodies smelling like a gigantic sulfuric egg to help a tiny get that nasty fungus off their bodies 🍄🥚☢️.

Thank you fir taking her to your balcony. She is calmer away from the other cats with tbe lamp shade on her head. You may have to hand feed and water her. Thank God you got her in before infection. Took her eye. Peace and Blessings ♥️🌹💪
