FIRST ATTEMPT AT MAKING MAPLE SYRUP!
I have always wanted to try making maple syrup so I headed out into the bush and gave it a shot. All I knew at the time is a 40:1 ratio of sap to syrup. 40 liters of sap will yield 1 liter of syrup. For this experiment all I wanted to do is taste a small sample. It didn't quite work out as expected but I learned a lot about the process. I will be back next year....and will tap the sap earlier in the season! Hope you like the video!
