All you said are true. I prefer riding the Caad13 compared to last generation of Allez Sprint. Also suffering from creak noise but it's on and off...

Also did my first 100km on my 2020 caad13. Though I was close ... 90+km before lockdown with my Decathlon Btwin. Many other firsts including 200km Audax on the caad13. Have recently moved on to a forever bike, Van Nicholas Skeiron Ti bike. Similar level of comfort and ride as the caad13.

Pretty sure Steve, like me, is a lockdown cyclist - so sub-three years! Can't comment on the care of the shoes since then 😅

You mentioned there was a creaking sound during your first test ride of your CAAD13. I am experiencing the same with mine. How did you fix it? What was the cause? Thanks !

I haven't noticed it on the last few rides to be honest. Some say seatpost and that it just requires some grease, some say it's the design of the bottom bracket

Can you fit mudguards to the Caad?

Yep it has attachments for mudguards - one of the improvements from my old Emonda!

You seem to have a very upright riding position for an agressive machine like caad13. It almost calls for an endurance oriented geometry like a Domane or a Synapse. I'm 5 10 with average proportions and a 56cm Domane frame fits perfectly to me.
