Pyrotechnics is certainly the most labour intensive, dangerous, expensive, and creative form of art there is. People have no idea how demanding this work is. Pyro is the most difficult yet impressive art there is!

+XTREMEPYRO144 - its even more work!!! :) I thought I knew a lot, but I was wrong... it's an art you have to practice every day - for years. The italian pyro masters are on top of their game - true artists!

hey. I know what you mean. Its probably a similar way of working (connecting products with a fast burning fuse - quickmatch), although these are a kind of ground salute, that are connected with quickmatch. The little paper-"cup", he puts onto the ends of the fast fuse, is just there to connect the matches. Tying them off with string adds a little bit of delay, this gives the "batteria" its rhythm.

Is it just me or does this seem like an accident waiting to happen. It looked like they were storing all of their chemicals in one store room (YIKES!) then you got the guy wrapping it where he was getting chemicals all over his hands. Surely that cannot be good for him, particularly with the nitrites. The whole operation looked like it could be quite a bit more efficient - particularly the guy moving from the table where he was making it to the string that he was using to wrap it. Why didn't the guy have a swivel chair and a leaf to the table where he was making it. He could make many more times the amount of fireworks - still handmade.
