Very nice, that turned out really good! One question, and its not in regards to any formulas or how you made it, anywho, in regards to the fallout from the casings of those inserts, does it pose much of a fire hazard? I know it may be kind of a dumb question. Would treating the outside and inside of the casing with waterglass help with the potential of the fallout fire hazard, if there even is one?

I did play with waterglass, and wood hardener treatments for the tubes, CBP, and didn't find that either prevented charring of the tubes. But, I've also not seen any glowing/flaming fallout from the tubular inserts in actual display, either. That sort of fallout is certainly something to pay attention to on a shoot site.

When you make your videos i always see you holding a printed sheet of papper or a binder with these projects in it. I am interested were i can find books or the information you are using. Thank you.

Hay Ned do you prefer the rinfasciature type construction over pasting? Or is it more a time saving method you would use for shell testing?

I do prefer rinfasciature, James. Some of it's a simple preference for that method. Some of it to avoid the drying of a pasted shell. Both techniques work, though, so to each their own.

Ned would you be willing to show how to make go-getters or bees and incorporate them in a shell with stars?

I have a question about a design possibility. Is it possible to create a shell that explodes into a horizontal flat disc? So seen from a distance it appears as a line but from below it appears as a disc of color? Thanks i enjoy your creations! I watched Passfire last night, great film. There was however at time stamp 1:09:00 a wortker ramming rocket motors while smoking a cigarette!!!! I completely lost it! Stay safe.

Friends, a "plane" or ring of stars will display in that formation. Then it's a matter of orienting the shell so that formation is flat to the earth when the shell breaks. I have a method for doing that with my Escher's Parasol Shells, detailed in a project on the website. Other folks have tried different ways of getting such shell orientations.
